Answer the questions that you know first, then go back and spend time

on the others.

What do AP test graders look for in an essay?

At least a 5 paragraph essay with a strong thesis, body, and conclusion.

Avoid summarizing.

What if I am stuck on a question?

Skip it then come back to it later. Break down the question and use process of elimination if possible.

How should I keep track of questions I skipped previously?

Mark a “+” for answers you think may be correct, mark a “-” for

answers you are sure are wrong, and a “?” for unsure answers.

What should I expect to see on the AP exam?

60 minutes to answer 55 questions based off 4-5 passages. You will

have at least one essay prompt to answer.
