Praise the Lord everyone!

It’s hard to believe that

we’re already in the

month of May. Beautiful

spring blossoms, butter-

flies, spring cleaning and

hay fever teary eyes. All

in all, it’s good to be

alive.

The year is unfolding so

quickly. It seems it’s so

much to accomplish in so

little time, but it’s all

good. With so much to

do, we may find our-

selves experiencing anxi-

ety attacks.

Anxiety releases: fear,

nervousness, sickness,

afflictions, stress, depres-

sion, and oppression

among other spiritual,

emotional, and physical

malfunctions.

If we just remember the

words of the Lord (see:

Inspirational Scripture)

during or daily admini-

strations, we can experi-

ence more relaxation,

confidence, and success

in every thing we do.

During this month, medi-

tate on the promises from

God’s Word, and May

the Lord God, bless you,

increase you more and

more, and make His face

to shine upon you in

every way.

Personal Etiquettes

When looking in the mirror

before leaving home, or

anytime, make sure you give

yourself proper judgment

about what you see. Stay

true to yourself. It’s bad

when you tell yourself a lie.

It’s worse when you believe

the lie you told yourself.

Marriage Etiquettes

Marriage is like a puzzle of a

beautiful flower garden.

Once a couple patiently

work together to find and

place the pieces in their

proper places, it is oh so

breathtaking, brilliant, and

delightfully beautiful. Some-

thing to be cherished, dis-

played, and preserved for-

ever. Apostle G. K. Span

Isaac Riley was ordained as deacon.

Saturday, we received a very inspira-

Toney as she ministered the Word

of God with persuasive motiva-

tion. Gleaning from our theme

“Propelled Positioning,” she lifted

the subject “ In the Pit, but not

Pitiful (text: Gen. 3:18-39). Follow-

ing are four points of power

shared in her sermon:

The A.A.F Councils and Holy Convoca-

tions are held to continue and perfect

the establishment of our incor-

porated organization. During

our 2013 Spring Council, the

attendance was very low, yet

we witnessed successful ac-

complishments. Among those

successes were first and fore-

most: the presence of the Lord

your prosperity. Going through a

tough time right now? What a

great time to count your blessings.

Make a fun game out of it. Say

what? Need some motivational

help? Ok, let’s do a contagious ex-

ercise that will

help someone

else to change

their attitude

to gratitude .

Now, let’s do

this. Think of three praises that you

can offer unto the Lord for:

1. Your relationship with Him

2. Your physical condition

3. Your living conditions

4. Your children

5. Your job status

6. Your fruitful relationships

7. Deliverance from near death.

8. Your food situation.

9. Your past achievements

10. Your talents, and gifts.

Apostle Gwenna K. Span

You may have heard it before, and

yes it’s true! An attitude of gratitude

determines altitude. When we

maintain a positive attitude of

thanksgiving, we heap to ourselves

many positive emotional benefits

such as: joy, peace,

happiness, confidence,

creativity and such like.

A bad attitude will

cause doors of oppor-

tunity to close , drive

good people away, keep you in a

negative state of being, and destroy

growing pains can be very beneficial.

Intellectually speaking: Growing is

knowing, knowing is showing, and

showing is flowing. If you’ve been hurt

by the church, following are seven

things that can be done to help bring

about healing and deliverance. Con-

sider these seven tips.

1. Pray - Pray before reacting.

Earnest, fervent prayer will help:

comfort, calm, and direct you.

2. Forgive - If you have hurt

some else, take the proper biblical

steps to be reconciled to your

brother or sister. If you are the one

who has been hurt. Seek the Lord

for a forgiving heart. This can take

time, so be patient.

3. Evaluate - Replay the situation in

your mind. Maybe you’ve over-

looked some vital facts of impor-

tance which caused the dissension.

Church hurt. If you’ve survived sticking

around without running away, you

most likely have been a victim of church

hurt; right? NO, wrong! If you’ve sur-

vived church hurt and stuck around,

you are not a victim, but a victor.

Church hurt and family hurt are two of

the most painful types of hurt we can

suffer apart from the death

of losing a loved one.

In this world we will suffer

hurt from many different

people and avenues such as: family

members, co-workers, neighbors,

friends, and etc. Church hurt is no dif-

ferent, because it is made up of imper-

fect people; many who are daily striving

for perfection.

Everyone who stands the test of time

will experience church hurt. From the

pastor to the children and everyone in

between. In daily life, we call it grow-

ing pains. If proper growth takes place,

4. Take Accountability - Be honest. If

you are an accomplice, take ac-

countability for your actions, and

attempt to properly mend the situa-

tion (if possible).

5. Confront - If possible confront the

person/s you’ve been hurt by, and

attempt to bring about a resolu-

tion. This may need to be done in

several stages.

6. Think Positively - Rather than medi-

tate on the negativity, meditate on

the positivity of the situation such

as: what you learned, how you

advanced, and how you can futur-

istically make things better.

7. Transition Peacefully - If you feel

that God is leading you to transi-

tion elsewhere, seek God and wise

counseling for an orderly and

peaceful way of transitioning.

Apostle Gwenna K. Span

Just Being Me:

1.You’ll barely catch me not being busy.

2. I love my job as pastor.

3. I get testy when I feel a sense of un-

productiveness.

4. I love when things are executed in an

orderly fashion.

5. I enjoy design, fashion, and beauty.
