NOTICE is hereby given that SHETLAND ISLANDS COUNCIL proposeto make the above named Order under Section 84( 1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984, as amended.

1. The general effect of the Order would be that no person shall drive orperms to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding THIRTYMILES PER HOUR on:

i) that length of the Hamnavoe to Houss Road. Barra commencingat a point 465 metres north of its junction with the Toogs road andproceeding in a generally south- easterly direction to a point 105metres south- east of its ( unction with the East Hogaland Road, adistance of 1, 715 metres or thereby;

ii) the entire length of the Toogs road, Burra commencing at its junctionwith the West Burro road and proceeding in a generally south- easterlydirection to Sunnybank, a distance of 262 metres or thereby;

iii) the entre length of the North Toogs road Burra commencing at itsjunction with the Toogs road and proceeding in a generally north- easterly direction for a distance of 185 metres or thereby;

iv) that length of the Bridge End to Duncanscleft road. Barra commencingat its junction with the West Buns road, at the war memorial, andproceeding in a generally south- westerly direction for a distance of685 metres or thereby; and
