Refer to the standard drawings in the Appendix B-1. Ground shall be scarified, compacted and made level for vertical placement of walls. 2.8.2.7 SNOW & ICE GUARDS Provide snow and ice guards on all sloped roofs above personal and overhead doors for each facility. Snow guards shall extend 200 mm beyond the opening, on both sides. Guards shall not penetrate existing roofing but shall utilize a clamp system, with rail or bar and ice stoppers. Reference snow & ice guard detail provided in Appendix B-1. 3. EXECUTION 3.1 CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS 3.1.1 MODIFIED SITE ADAPT PROCESS The Contractor shall modify the fully designed construction documents, to include plans and specifications, to the extent necessary to provide a complete construction set, and construct the facilities identified in this Section as a Modified Site Adapt effort. Modified site adapt facilities shall be in accordance with the requirements stated in Section 01015 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. Refer to the appendices for designs and reference drawings to which the Contractor should adhere for programmatic requirements. The modified design and construction work shall include and be limited to that described herein. All building systems shall be modified as required by the design changes shown in the drawings in Appendix B-1, and only to the extent necessary to support the required modifications. 3.1.2 SUBMITTALS The design analysis and Contractor-developed drawings and construction specifications shall be submitted for review in accordance with Section 01335 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES. 3.2 CONTRACT DOCUMENTS 3.2.1 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS a. The Technical Specifications, included in Appendix A-1, are provided for work to be performed and materials to be installed by the Contractor as directed by the designs provided by the Government. All technical, testing and submittal requirements shall be adhered to as described in each respective specification. b. The Contractor shall prepare and submit for approval in accordance with Section 01335 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES any technical specification required for construction of the designs provided by the Government. 3.2.2 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Section 01015 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS provides performance criteria to which the Contractor shall design any scope of work identified as Design-Build. These requirements are not intended to supersede nor conflict with the Technical Specifications included in Appendix A-1 as they are design requirements to which the Contractor, or his Design Agent, shall adhere. 3. EXECUTION
