Thevalue engineering exercise resulted in a saving of about USD 15 Million to the Client. As aLocal Consultant for Structural and Geotechnical Design and Resident supervision(Excavated level 57 ft. below Road Level), Noor Durrani & Associates Designed,Supervised and Evaluated Full Scale Pile Load Tests on 1200mm bored cast in situ pileswith a working load of 750 tons (ultimate load 1500tons). This is the heaviest pile load testcarried out in Pakistan to date.

Review and Value engineering for the Foundation Piling Package which originally comprised

of about 2500 bored cast in situ piles 1200mm diameter and 40 meter long. The value

engineering exercise resulted in a saving of about USD 15 Million to the Client. As a Local

Consultant for Structural and Geotechnical Design and Resident supervision (Excavated

level 57 ft. below Road Level), Noor Durrani & Associates Designed, Supervised and

Evaluated Full Scale Pile Load Tests on 1200mm bored cast in situ piles with a working load

of 750 tons (ultimate load 1500tons). This is the heaviest pile load test carried out in

Pakistan to date.
