El Pintóndesigned by Lucas y Hernández-Gil

This restaurant’s design mixes traditional architecture—by exposing the original building’s textures—with a fresh take on the familiar Sevillian courtyard. Materials, textures, and even light serve as ornaments throughout a variety of spaces linked by timber floors and ceilings. The designers ramped up the character of the courtyard by adding plants, garden furniture, lanterns, wreaths, and a camouflaging textile for shade. Metal and timber furnishings were designed by Lucas y Hernández-Gil, which supplement brands like Magis, Fermob, and Driade. Some of the lighting comes courtesy of Marset and &tradition, while the rest is hand-crafted and bespoke.
