Apple Valley man, 23, tells police he stabbed his mother A 23-year-old man was arrested Monday in Apple Valley after calling 911 to report that he had assaulted his mother. Police responding to the call just after 5 p.m. found the man waiting outside a home on 134th Street West, according to Apple Valley police. Inside they found his mother unresponsive, the apparent victim of a stabbing. The woman was taken to the hospital. Information on her condition was not available Monday night. The man was taken into custody. The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating.
