ISTOLS course is a unique program with bedside simulation training organized by experts in the field of Toxicology, addressing the common poisonings found in the Indian subcontinent. Participants will learn to identify poisoning, recognise drug overdoses, recall relevant antidotes with routes and doses, and utilize the resources available at the bedside in rescuing critically poisoned patients.
Participants will undergo simulation training for understanding the pathophysiology of poisoning and envenomation, and will get practical tips in administering specific treatment, antidotes, anticipating adverse events of therapy, and preparing mind maps for future practical situations in real life.
