The Role: CEO, Bloom Education Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the CEO will be responsible for developing Bloom Education (BE) as a major player in the UAE and wider MENA region K-12 and early years education sector.

Responsibilities: The CEO is responsible for leading the development and execution of Bloom Education’s long-term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value.

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the CEO include the following:

● Lead, in conjunction with the Board, the development of Bloom Education’s strategy;

● Oversee implementation of Bloom Education’s Company’s long and short term plans in accordance with Bloom Education’s strategy;

● Ensure Bloom Education is appropriately organized and staffed to enable it to achieve its strategic objectives;

● Grow the business across the MENA region with a significant roll out of schools – either directly or through joint ventures for new ‘greenfield operations’, as well as through investments and acquisitions.

● Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place;

● Ensure effective and profitable management of the various schools in the portfolio.

School Heads, Director of Finance and Administration, Bloom Education Director of Marketing and Communications, Bloom Education CEO of Bloom Properties.

External:

Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Brighton College International Schools Limited (BCIS), Investors/related intermediaries.

Reporting line:

This position reports to Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Properties.

Experience:

Substantial and senior level leadership experience in one or more of the following sectors: private education, private healthcare or hospitality.
