The scholarship recipient will be notified via mail by and phone by October 1, 2019. Attendance at the 2019 OSCA Annual Convention Gala on November 2, 2019 is strongly encouraged, however not required.

• Earnacumulativegradepointaverageof3.0ona4.0scale(orequivalentgradingsystem)inprofessionalcourseworkduringchiropracticschool.
• StudentmustbewillingtoresideandpracticeinthestateofOhioandcommittohelpingshapethefutureoftheprofessionaftergraduation.
TheOhioChiropracticFoundationStudentScholarshipProgramwillrecognizestudentswhoarecommittedtoshapingthefutureoftheprofessionandpracticinginthestateofOhio.Applicantswillbeevaluatedontheirpotentialtobecomeleadersforthechiropracticprofession,asdemonstratedbyinvolvementinschoolandcommunityactivities,andacademicperformance.
For2019,onescholarshipfor$5,000inhonorofBobZirker,Jr.isavailabletobeawardedbytheOhioChiropracticFoundationandwillbepresentedatthe2019OSCAAnnualConventiononSaturday,November2,2019.TheinauguralhonoreefortheChiropracticFoundationScholarshipisRobert“Bob”ZirkerJr.Bob,asfounderofZirkerInsuranceandFinancialServices,hasalonghistoryofpromotingtheChiropracticProfession,specificallytheOSCA.Bob’spersonallife-changing,chiropracticexperiencehasleadtoa30yearpartnershipwiththeOSCA.Bobandhisson,RobZirkerIII,areproudtosupporttheChiropracticFoundation’sscholarshipcampaign.
