WHO WE ARE

Several of the products we make are common ingredients in a variety of items that people rely on every day.

FEEDING OUR WORLDPetroleum fuels make it possible to plow, plant, fertilize, harvest and transport food to where it’s needed.

GIVING YOU INDEPENDENCEThanks to affordable, reliable petroleum fuels, you can go wherever you want, whenever you want, in climate-controlled comfort. The fuels we manufacture are cleaner than ever, and automobiles today are more efficient than ever before.

BUILDING OUR WORLDFrom homes and offices to bridges and cell towers, construction relies on petroleum fuels to power bulldozers, cranes, backhoes, cement trucks and generators.

PUTTING EVERYTHING WITHIN YOUR REACHVirtually everything we buy comes to us on a combination of trucks, planes, trains and marine vessels powered by petroleum fuels.

MAKING THE PRODUCTS THAT WE ALL USE

MAKING MODERN LIFE SAFER AND MORE CONVENIENTThe petrochemicals we manufacture are used to make vehicle components, clothing, electronic equipment, hospital equipment, furniture, insulation products, adhesives, paints and inks, helmets and other protective gear, and much more.

EQUIPPING OUR FIRST RESPONDERSAmbulances, fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, rescue aircraft and boats, generators … all of these are critical to surviving and recovering from fires, medical emergencies and natural disasters.

What We Value Our people are our greatest asset and essential to the success of our business. We believe in providing a collaborative and safe work environment that embraces diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) to ensure we attract, develop and retain the best talent. Providing opportunities for long-term engagement and career growth are top priorities. We want our employees to feel that they are valued for their work and impact on the business, that we reward them fairly and competitively, and that we are invested in their development.

Our Employee Networks Employee Networks provide forums for discussion, development and connection to our communities and play an important role in our DE&I strategy. All networks encourage ally membership. Nearly 2,700 employees participated in our Employee Networks in 2020. The groups, which focus on six populations — Asian, Black, Hispanic, Veterans, Women and LGBTQ+ — are led by employees with guidance and active involvement from executive leadership sponsors.

Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion To support our commitment to creating a more diverse workforce and to hold ourselves accountable, we set company goals designed to drive our strategy to increase representation of women, Black, Indigenous and people of color in our workforce. In April 2021, we were the first U.S. independent downstream energy company to link executive and employee compensation to DE&I metrics.

Guided by a dedicated DE&I team and supported by leadership companywide, our strategy focuses on:

Increasing Representation Ensuring Success Measurement and Accountability Building Awareness

Challenging Ourselves To Lead In Sustainable EnergyWe are meeting the needs of today while investing in an energy-diverse future.

This objective drives us to: - Strengthen the resiliency of our business - Innovate for the future by investing in renewables and emerging technologies - Embed sustainability in decision-making and in how we engage our people and many stakeholders
