HIV and AIDS Prevention In The Workplace
The entire unit PT Ungaran Sari Garments again received an award from the Ministry of Labor for his efforts in preventive spread of HIV / AIDS in the workplace with the Gold category. The award was presented by the Minister of Labour, Hanif Dhakiri, on May 2016 in Jakarta. Representatives of the Compliance Department from Semarang together with the HR Department and Corporate Communication Department symbolically received this award.

Gemba Academy Training
To increase the awareness of employees in continuous improvement, enhance understanding of 5S, form a positive attitude and mindset to want to continue to thrive in the workplace, PT Ungaran Sari garments held Gemba Academy Training as seed capital to achieve kualias employment as a top priority. Gemba Academy is trusted by companies around the world for their lean and six sigma training needs. Material presented is 5S Workplace Productivity, Dealing with The 7 Deadly Waste, The Kaizen Way Course, Value Stream, Practical Problem Solving, The 7 Quality Control Tools, A3 Thinking, Just In Time, Standard Work, Built-in Quality, Production Preparation Process , Total Productive Maintenance, Gemba Glossary. Training starts from the beginning of January 2016 to September 2016 held every Monday through Friday. The number of participants to join was 7.958.

Internal Marketing Training
Each month, the marketing team of PT Ungaran Sari Garments conduct an internal training. From January 2016 until May 2016, there has been 13 training sessions held with different topics. Starting from Movex, payment procedures, merchandising flow, sampling, trim flow, logistics requirements, fabric details. In April 2016, Rakesh Sharma as Purchase Manager, provided materials on fabric inspection, fabric testing as well as color and light source to 53 marketing member. In May 2016, the marketing team visited the Intertek Testing Service. Intertek Testing Services is a world wide group of testing laboratories for the textile, footwear, toys, petroleum and chemical industries. The marketing team divided into two groups with a schedule of visits in two different days. The purpose was to learn about fabric testing, garment testing, trim and to observe the machines that are used for testing.
HERproject Activity
In the fasting month this year, a team of peer educator HERproject distributing food and drinks to break the fast to all employees of PT Ungaran Sari Garments in Congol units in June 2016. The team also held a peer educator for free pap smear examination so that the female employees guard against cervical cancer. There were 237 people participated in this health check.

Donations for Flood and Landslide Victims Due to the high rainfall during the month of June 2016, natural disasters as floods and landslides in Purworedjo within approximately 100 meters of the unit Ungaran. This disaster resulted in deaths and thousands of residents to evacuate to a safe location of the disaster. PT Ungaran Sari Garments provided basic needs packages to 28 families of employees who are victims. Management also provides cash assistance to eight families who suffered the most severe damage to the residence.
