High school seniors all over the country are missing out on special parts of senior year like prom, graduation ceremonies, and more. We’re trying to find ways to make graduation special for the four seniors involved in our Student Ministry. We invite you to write them notes of encouragement or send gift cards. Let’s also keep them and their families in our prayers! Our seniors are listed be-low:

• RYAN COLE • HADLEY HILES • MATT JOHNSON • PATRICK MCMILLAN

You can send notes or gift cards to the church office at 1199 Highland Ave. Largo, FL 33770.

OPEN ARMS IS OPEN Open Arms is open Mon-Weds from 1-3 PM with limited volunteers and new safety proce-dures in place. Bags of food are pre-packed for drive up pick-up, so we can hand them off with minimal contact.

DRIVE UP FOOD DRIVE You can help serve through our Open Arms Ministry by taking part in a food drive on Sat-urday, May 9. We'll have a drop off line set up at the Highland entrance of the Christian Life Enrichment Center from 9 AM to Noon. If you have any extra groceries that you're able to do-nate, bag or box them in the trunk of your car, then just drive up and pop the trunk. Cereal, pasta and sauce, mac and cheese, tuna, ham-burger helper, and other types of food are great options. We have plenty of rice and beans from the meal packing that you did! Dia-pers and toiletries are also welcome. Our volunteers will collect the food from your trunk, so you'll stay safe in your car. Although we're asking that everyone stay in their cars, you're invited to put a sign in your car windows to say hello if you’d like. This food drive is open to the community so be sure to share our Face-book event and let everyone know. If you aren't able to go to the store for grocer-ies right now, and you'd rather make a mone-tary donation, you can mail us a check at 1199 Highland Ave. Largo, FL 33770 or make an do-nation online. Just be sure to mark your dona-tion for Open Arms! Thank you so much for your willingness to share what you have with others!

PRAYER SHAWLS OFFER COMFORT 14 prayer shawls have been mailed or deliv-ered this week! We have sent shawls to Ten-nessee, Ohio, and South Carolina! It is such a blessing for Prayer Shawl Ministry to share the love of Jesus during this time when many are experiencing isolation and loneliness. If you or someone you care about would like a prayer shawl contact Patsy Schutzendorf Halliburton at [email protected].

Our mask makers are still hard at work. They have now delivered 600 masks to our local healthcare workers. Visit our website for more info on how you can make masks.
