Founded in 1976, initially manufacturing highly complex automatic test equipments (test Jigs with needles) for test and calibration of electronic equipments for Philips, equipments these until then not manufactured in Brazil, following along the time and until today his vocation of always to develop and to produce high technology equipments. Other equipments came later, like Static Exciters for generators and synchronous motors, Very High Current Rectifiers, Soft Starters for low and medium voltage, Protection Relays, Solid State Contactors, Power Controllers, Systems for no contact temperature supervision (”thermography”) and others, besides of aggregating other companies in other sectors, becoming a leader of a group of companies.

First company to produce in Brazil Soft Starters for low voltage motors and one of the first ones in the world. Nowadays one of the two companies to do produce it in Brazil. GE in constant inspections in more than 200 itens relative to quality, certified us as international supplier and this way we are pre qualified to supply for any GE unit GE in the world without pre questionings or inspections.This way we supply to GE Canada for example.

Varixx was one of the first companies in Brazil to organize a Investment Club for their employees, having been mentioned as a "case" in specialized magazines. Our constant concern with the employees' good living including the preparation for a worthy and stable retirement make us to distribute a representative portion of the revenue for the employees, with part of it deposited directly in the investments club. Varixx began the distribution of part of the profit since the beginning of their activities, very before therefore than the relative laws to this matter in Brazil and in values quite superiors to that defined by the law.
