Glasgow played host
to the Scotty Qualier
Track & Field Meet lastnight. The idea is to limit
athletes’’ events and give
them a chance to qualify
for state. And we don’t
know of anyone who has
as much fun in track as
our Scotty girls. Pictured
below is Alaina Sallee
doing a little jig to warm up
for the high jump in which
the freshman placed 4th.
Duking it out in a tight race are (left to right) Glasgow’s Cade Myrick, Walker Allen, Ellis
McKean and Poplar’s Mathew Rattling Thunder. Myrick, a freshman, would eventually pul
away from the pack to win the 1600, ahead of Rattling Thunder by seven seconds. McKean
also a freshman, would place third and Allen took 5th.

Dear BS Buzz,As I approach the end o my tour in Aghanistan,
I wanted to tell you how entertaining your publicationhas been. I spent a lot o time in Malta, and it was goodto get a taste o the local flavor again.
By the time you receive this letter, I will probablybe back in the finest country on earth. I am looking
orward to reuniting with amily and riends. At mynext job I will be testing airplanes instead o flyingthe combat sorties I fly now. I would appreciate yourcontinuing thoughts and prayers or our great nationand or all who serve, in one capacity or another.
Again, thank you so much or the papers. Te St
Marie Women’s Club included several issues in a packagewe received rom them. I admire your generosity andpatriotism.
We had a terrific Easter and now I am ready to startthe whole process o heading back. I have included aphotograph o mysel, araid it didn’t capture my bestside. I am the ugly one on our lef, your right, notwearing a helmet. Pray or us whenever you happen toglance at the photo. God Bless You.
Sincerely, Major Rud “Apollo” Mudlyn (Aviation)
