(Phil 2: 1-11)Your blessings FatherBrothers and sisters, If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, anyparticipation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy, complete my joy by being of the samemind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing. Do nothing out of selfishness orout of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, eachlooking out not for his own interests, but (also) everyone for those of others. Have amongyourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus, Who, though he was in theform of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Hisappearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shakenwith fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Donot be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has beenraised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell hisdisciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there youwill see him.' Behold, I have told you." Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yetoverjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them on theirway and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. ThenJesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they willsee me." This is the truth. Then we are also false witnesses toGod, because we testified against Godthat he raised Christ, whom he did notraise if in fact the dead are not raised. Forif the dead are not raised, neither hasChrist been raised, and if Christ has notbeen raised, your faith is vain; you are stillin your sins. Then those who have fallenasleep in Christ have perished. If for thislife only we have hoped in Christ, we arethe most pitiable people of all. When they looked up, they saw thatthe stone had been rolled back; it was verylarge. On entering the tomb they saw ayoung man sitting on the right side,clothed in a white robe, and they wereutterly amazed. He said to them, "Do notbe amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth,the crucified. He has been raised; he is nothere. Behold the place where they laid him.But go and tell his disciples and Peter, 'Heis going before you to Galilee; there youwill see him, as he told you.'" Then theywent out and fled from the tomb, seizedwith trembling and bewilderment. Theysaid nothing to anyone, for they wereafraid. This is the truth.Peace be with you.
