To celebrate women’s history month the Bridge Student Council sponsored a contest. Classrooms were challenged to create a

mural depicting women and their role in history.

Bridge students not only met the challenge, they surpassed it! The student council was impressed by the creativity, thought, and

hard work all the classrooms displayed in their murals and collages.

Thank you to all the teachers and students who participated. Congratulations to the following classrooms who won the contest.

1st place winning classrooms received a $100 Borders gift card, 2nd place winners a $50 gift card, and 3rd place winners a $25

gift card to purchase books for their classroom libraries.

Seif’s project. The competition was intense with 250 students

from Chicago schools all over the city participating in this

event.

Sief earned an excellent rating for his project, various certifi-

cates, a medal, and a subscription to Scientific American, plus

$350.00! Seif plans to purchase a bike with his winnings.

Congratulations Seif! Bridge school is very proud of your accomplishments!
