Roadway Projects
• Completion evaluation walk-through was
conducted by TxDot Wednesday, April 27th • CenterPoint has completed about 70% of
the line relocation along the east side of the project lieu
• Work continues on the project to complete outstanding items
Cullen Parkway
Cullen Parkway
Phase II – Mary’s Creek Bypass to SH35
• Opened to 4 lanes on 4/6 • Closed Friendswood/Hastings for
permanent asphalt tie in • City staff initiated inspections of right of
way, landscape, water, sanitary, storm and paving
Dixie Farm Road
• One lane closure between SH 35 and Veterans allowing only westbound traffic continued
• Approximately 90% of the 4x4 and 60% of the 9x4 boxes have been laid
• CenterPoint relocation work is pending and is not impeding the construction progress
Walnut Reconstruction
Construction Phase III – Morgan to Harkey and CR 89
• Turned signals on at Morgan/Southfork and Cullen/Southfork and opened Southfork to traffic on April 14th
• Completed FM 1128 asphalt widening work • Completed testing of all sanitary lines • Grand opening on May 18th
Magnolia Road
• Held final walk-through on April 11th and
noted several items that need to be addressed
• Pipe & Tube approved the work that was completed by the contractor on their property
• Working to close-out the project
Town Ditch Phase III
• Orange Street has been closed to westbound traffic between SH 35 and Mykawa to begin the installation of utilities and grading
• Installed approximately 90% of inlets • Working to televise the existing 60” storm sewer
line on the north side of the roadway • Working to resolve several conflicts with AT&T • Initial paving between SH35 and R/R today
Orange Street
• Returned plan review of 100% plans with
drainage updates to the engineer for revisions • Traffic counts and noise measurements
completed for Noise Impact Analysis; Engineer working on draft report submission
• Advertised ROW clearing contract. • ROW acquisition underway – 61 of 65
parcels acquired, 4 in condemnation (May 16th)
Bailey Road (Veterans to FM1128)
• Irrigation and landscaping about to begin
• Final clean-up in progress
McHard Road (Country Place to Cullen)
McHard Road (Soundwall Construction)
• Comcast completed utility relocations • Wall panel, caps, coping, and Soundfighter
gate installation completed • Drainage swale installation and sidewalk
replacement started
• Two lanes of paving Flea Market to Walmart • Working with TxDOT to address local
business concerns • USACE issued permit for low water crossing
on Hickory Slough • All utilities have been relocated along SH35
with the exception of the contaminated soil area
SH35 – BW8 to FM518
• Bridge deck at Relief Bridge and Clear Creek Bridge poured
• Traffic switch scheduled for the end of May
FM 2234 Widening
• Signal has been turned on
Interim Traffic Signal Installation – Mykawa Road at Brookside Road
• Contract documents have been transmitted for execution by the Contractor
• Project Number has been issued

• Awaiting re-submittal of 90% N/S Ditch plans

• Pricing for installation of fiber optic to PSB has been completed; preparing in house crossing design for submittal to TxDOT for permit
• Pouring the final four wall panels this week of the twenty four total required for the building
• Installation of new fuel system at Orange Street facility currently waiting for equipment to arrival for final installation of system at Orange Street
Hillhouse Road Service Center
• Continuing work on Interview Room Recording System – Ordering equipment for installation the new cameras &
mics • Contractor has completed list of final adjustments
and repairs except for some outstanding parts that are on order
Public Safety Building
• Continuing to work through warranty items
• Released contractor’s retainage
Fire Station #5
• Driveways and parking/paving has been
completed
Fire Station #6
• HGAC grant application has been submitted • 100% design plans and specs are in review • Working to advertise the project once the
HGAC grant is approved

Trail Connectivity
• Held progress meeting to review site layout, utility layout, park budget and pond inflow
• Initiated work on Interlocal agreement with BDD4
• Met with MUD engineer and developer on CR 403 and items of coordination
• Obtained and reviewed proposal for additional scope from engineer regarding CR 403

30” Waterline Interconnect
• The subcontractor continued to construct the support structures for the aerial crossing and has completed 5 of the 10 support columns and taken delivery of the steel pipe for the aerial crossing
• The meter station construction of the project was on hold this month due to the need for additional City of Houston permits
• Fuqua line and meter station underway • CoH 72” line scheduled for completion in July 2011

Alice Street Water Plant • Industrial TX continued working on the pump
building, turbine facility foundation, 24” process waterline, and chemical facility
• Preload completed the construction of the ground storage tank and demobilized from the site
• Upon completion of the 30” waterline, Preload will test the ground storage tank
South SH 35 Interim Lift Station at Industrial Drive
• Change order negotiated and executed with contractor for installation of gravity sewer line in lieu of temporary lift station
• Contractor delivered submittals for new project scope
• Held design kick off meeting on May 5th
• Received final version of letter report on filter evaluation
• Completed execution of design contract • Issued NTP on May 2nd
Longwood WWTP Rehabilitation
• Topographic survey underway • Located and obtained copies of 1967 original
plans, and upgrade plans from 1978 and 1985 • Received and reviewed 30% plans and outline of
specs
Barry Rose WWTP Rehabilitation
• Held design kick off meeting with engineer • Obtained lift station access and started gathering
data • Engineer submitted draft schedule
Hatfield Basin Trunk Sewer
• Held project kick-off meeting • Initial lift station site location
recommendation presented to and discussed with the City; Engineer is authorizing surveying of planned route and site
Twin Creek Regional Lift Station
Far Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements
• Continued discussion with decanter manufacturer • Developed small contract to evaluate plant design
operational parameters, decanter performance, and plant performance
Old Alvin 20” Waterline
• Held first monthly progress meeting • Draft of PER submitted with initial report from
arborist
