PRESIDENT’S REPORT

The coronavirus has really changed our normal scheduling. With the regulations set by our government to keep the spread of Covid-19 under control, our church services and school are suspended until we are allowed to start them again. The annual open forum and voters’ meeting are postponed for now. Our Pastors, Principal, and administrative assistant will continue to keep you updated through our website and emails. If you don't receive emails, feel free to call the office when restrictions are lifted. Here are the results from the March 15th voters’ meeting. Our fellowship hall was approved to start build-ing. Maas Brothers from Watertown has been chosen to be the general contractor. Sub contractors and building permits need to be lined up in the coming months. We hope to start building this summer. Now that this project is a reality, please continue to give to the building fund. We accepted Mrs. Schwartz's and Mrs. Haley's resigna-tions with a peaceful release. Thank you both for your years of dedication teaching God's word to our children. We voted not to call a 3rd and 4th grade teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. We voted to hire a 1/2 time teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. Thanks to all of you for attending this meeting and your inputs to guide us in our decisions. Our teachers are very special to us. Thank God for sending them to us to educate God's children. Keep them in your prayers. Welcome to our new members Bryce and Tammy Neupert and daughter, Kaylee. Please welcome them when our church services resume. We have received a returned call from Miss Petermann to be the K-2 teacher. We normally would set up another call meeting. We need to make another call before call season ends. According to our constitution under Article VI section 3, the council is able to make this call since we can no longer gather together. The call will then be fully explained at the next voters meeting and approved. One thing will never change, Jesus died for us and rose on Easter Sunday! Have a BLESSED EASTER, Harland Walker
