EASI-CP (EDUKATE-ASTI SCHOOL INITIATIVE FOR COVID19 PROTECTION)
We are deeply concerned for our children who may not be able to learn in this time of crisis
especially those studying in public schools. Hence, as our contribution to the nation in this
challenging time of the COVID19 epidemic, The Association of Science, Technology and
Innovation (ASTI) in partnership with Excelsoft Technologies Pvt Ltd and Learning Orchard Sdn
Bhd would like to do our part by launching a program called EASI-CP (EDUKATE-ASTI
SCHOOL INITIATIVE FOR COVID19 PROTECTION). This program offers our educational
technology platform called EDUKATE FOR FREE to all Malaysian students for the next 3 months
(26th March to 25th June 2020).
The EDUKATE portal (www.edukate.com.my) offers Math, Science and English lessons to
Malaysian students in Standard 4, 5 and 6 (UPSR level) studying the Malaysian syllabus. The
Science and Math lessons are available in dual languages (Bahasa Malaysia and English).
To access our EASI-CP Program, parents simply need to go to www.edukate.com.my and
register for their 3 month free access. For further details, kindly drop us an email at

Science Fair for Young Children (SFYC)
ASTI held a survey among Tamil school Headmasters and Teachers to get their feedback on
how ASTI can help improve Zone Level Science Fair due to COVID-19 Movement Control
Oder (MCO) and school closure.
The survey result shows that a majority of the participants (83.5%) would prefer Zone Level
Science Fair (ZLSF) 2020 to be held in July 2020 and 472 of participants which is 81% of the
participants have agreed that National Science Fair for Young Children (NSFYC) 2020 should
be held 2 weeks after Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR). We are also looking into
many options for the implementation of Zone Level fairs including online options. We would
be updating various stakeholders soon.

Following the Ministry of Education (MOE)’s and Ministry of Health (MOH)’s advice in dealing
with the current COVID-19 situation, we are concerned on the health and safety of

We apologise for this inconvenience and thank you for your continuous support and
understanding, as the safety of our children and teachers is our paramount concern.
