Quick reminder to all folks taking the bus trip to The Ark– see me for your luggage tag (or pick it up the morning of May 8th). Looks like they have moved our departure up to 7 AM. We need you here a few minutes early please. We return Wednesday, May 10th around 7:30 PM. Make sure you take comfortable walking shoes. Pastor Brennan reports a good start for youth camp registration. Thanks to everyone who is assisting with camp scholarships. We

want every child to attend camp that desires to do so. Your financial support of our ministries here make it all possible. Thank you from the deep of my heart. And to all who remembered my birthday with cards, kindness and gifts, THANK YOU!

Graduate Sunday

Graduate Sunday is fast approaching! We will honor our graduates on Sunday, June 4th, in the morning service. If you are a high school or college graduate, LWC would like to honor you on this day. Graduate Information sheets are available through the church office. You may also submit a graduate photo and up to four other photos to be shared. Photos will be scanned and returned to you; or you can email digital photos to brennanctravis@yahoo.com. The deadline to turn in forms and photos is Sunday, May 28th.

Mother’s Day Bulletin

We are making preparation for the 2017 Mother's Day Bulletin. Forms are available at the front visitors desk and on the table at the office entrance. All proceeds from this project will go towards the Youth Camp Scholarship Fund. All entries must be turned in by next Sunday evening, May 7th.

Mother/Daughter Brunch

Mark your calendar for this year’s Mother/Daughter Brunch to take place on Saturday, May 6th. Please join us for this FREE event begin-ning at 9:30 am. Living Word Church would like to celebrate your Birth-day and Anniversary with you! We are happy to announce our card ministry is ready to get up and running! At the front and office entrances, you will find yellow information cards for you to fill out with your mailing address, anniversary, and birthdays for your family. You may drop these in the offering or turn cards into the church office.

All LW ladies are invited to attend a wedding celebration for Sandra Kinard this Thursday, May 4, at 6-7 pm in the Private Dining Room. We congratulate Sandra in her upcoming mar-riage to Oz Ramkisson and relocation to Florida. Sandra has been a blessing to the LW choir as well as a teacher on Wednes-day nights. National Day of Prayer

This year’s theme for the National Day of Prayer is For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us... Forgive Us...Heal Us! Taken from Daniel 9:19, which says, “O Lord, Listen! O Lord, Forgive! O Lord, Hear and Act! For Your Sake, O My God...”. As the 2017 National Day of

Prayer on May 4th approaches, thousands of individuals, churches, and communities will be working to rally millions of Christian’s to once again heed this call!

As citizens and residents of the United States and as believers in Christ Jesus, we not only have a spiritual responsibility according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray, but a civic duty as well to heed our President’s call to stand in the gap for our nation. Who but God’s people have the ability to enter into the very throne room of Heaven with prayers and petitions! LWC invites you to join us for the “NDOP”. We will have prayer beginning at 10 am in the Sanctuary.
