Sink Scrub

Objective: Connect with each guest at the sink

Sink Set-up:

Use the Aromassentials or Seasource Detox Scrub & Detox Lotion at the sink. Make sure sink is clean/clear and you have fresh hand towels (from host’s house) from host before guests arrive. Greet each guest make them feel comfortable, maybe get them a drink, take coat, introduce them to people, etc. Let them breathe for a few minutes.

Then say, “Come with me for a hand scrub at the sink!” TIP: The sink is your opportunity to connect 1-on-1, introduce yourself and find out about each guest! Build a rapport.

Start scrubs as soon as possible so you can start the presentation within 20-30 minutes of party start-time.

Give each guest a wellness profile sheet to fill out after the scrub. If you want to, tell them you’ll do a drawing with the cards at the end for a free gift (a few sample packs tied with a cute bow) Make collecting personal

info casual and friendly, “Fill this out so I know how to serve your needs.” While guests are scrubbing... you are not talking about yourself or Arbonne, it’s all about them. “20% talking 80% listening and CONNECTING. Ask questions: “How do you know the host? What brought you to the area? What do you do? Oh you must love your job...” Listen more than speak.

TIP: When guest first arrive and are ‘warming up to the gathering” it is NOT the time to talk about the products or Arbonne, take this time to get to know the guests and to build a relationship! Ask people about THEIR lives...people buy from people they KNOW, LIKE, & TRUST.

Welcome Presentation

Total presentation should be 30-40-min tops!!! PLEASE DO NOT READ EVERY BULLET. This is background info-- keep the presentation moving! Don’t pass around hand-outs or catalogs until the END of the presentation Do not let people know you have sample strips. People will buy the RE9 without trying it first (let them know they have a 45 day money back

guarantee). If someone is on the fence, privately give them a sample strip and let them know you will follow-up in 24 to 72 hours. Remember the confused or tired mind says, “NO”, or “I have to go” so watch your time, and reel-in tangents from you and guests to keep it moving.

Once seated for the group presentation: Thank the hostess and give her the gift you brought her, introduce yourself, and give the agenda for the party.

I’m going to tell you a little bit about myself and how I got started with Arbonne. Then I’ll touch briefly on the company and what makes Arbonne different. Then I’ll let you try these products!

Arbonne Background What Makes Arbonne Different (start poker chip game here and add letter game as fun option to review Arbonne’s differences)

I wanted to share a little about Arbonne and what makes it different in the market place: TIP: Zoom through bullet points. Keep it upbeat and MOVING! No need to read every detail! Engage the audience conversationally. People remember a “feeling/vibe” from the gathering and stories -- NOT bullet-point facts.

Arbonne is a 34 year old health and wellness company Botanically based: We use plant based ingredients in our formulations. Our philosophy is “Pure, Safe, and Beneficial” since 1980! Arbonne mixes science with nature: Plant-based -organic botanicals, plus cutting-edge ingredients so you see results! Swiss heritage: Cutting edge, premium, products that are developed right in our own research and development lab. Adhere to European standards, a great thing because European heath standards are the highest in the world, much higher than US standards.

o The front part of the catalog shows these standards listed. Not a lot of companies would hold themselves to these regulations! Manufactured in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK formulated to adhere to the highest standards in skincare, cosmetics, & nutrition globally Dermatologist, Pediatrician, and Ophthalmologist tested

Hypoallergenic: This is one of my favorite things about Arbonne. Arbonne products are formulated without the use of certain ingredients that are frequently known to cause allergic reactions, and contain no harsh chemicals. The term “hypoallergenic” does not mean non-allergenic, there is no such thing. Arbonne really raises the bar with the hypoallergenic claim.

Free from harmful chemicals (NO parabens, phthalates, petroleum, toluene, PABA, etc.) Parabens are a preservative used in many personal care products and it allows the products to have a 10-30 year shelf life. Parabens as an ingredient have come under concern because parabens are endocrine disrupters -- chemicals that interfere with endocrine (or

hormone system). Most people apply 5-15 personal care products over a day so you will want to make sure your products are free of parabens. Premium products are more advanced than anything you could find in a store or even at your esthetician. In fact I was just in a dermatologist’s office

and I decided to browse the ingredients on the products they were selling and I was SHOCKED to see parabens, fragrance and mineral oil. No Mineral Oil By-product of crude/petroleum oil (TOXIC)

o Occlusive (molecules too big to fit in pores) It’s like putting saran-wrap on your skin! TIP: (Optional) You can perform baby oil test:

2 sample cups & saltine cracker. 1 cup filled with water, the other cup filled with baby oil (which is 100% mineral oil & fragrance). Split cracker in half and drop each half into cups. Let soak and compare consistencies. Tap mineral-oil on edge of cup to show how it coats it.

No Chemical Fragrances FDA doesn’t regulate umbrella of chemicals to make-up the ‘fragrance’ of hidden ingredients. Dyes and fragrances are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. Our product smell awesome and what you smell is nature. Products (share one fact and one “love” about each product – highlight your script

- the product section of the presentation should be no more than 20 minutes)

Arbonne Essentials Nutritionals Pure Vegan Protein I start out my day with a Green Goddess Shake (men: a Super Green Shake)!

o I feel incredible from all of the vitamins and minerals I get from this. o It lasts a full 4 hours when you make a hormonally balanced shake (I will get you recipes with your

protein) o If you eat more protein during weight loss phase of your health you are more likely to lose fat mass and

less muscle. This is why protein is so important.

What makes Arbonne’s Protein DIFFERENT? o Compared to other proteins on the market, Arbonne’s is plant-based and VEGAN! That means there are

no animal by-products or whey! There really is nothing else like it in terms of ingredients, taste, and price! o 20 Grams of protein.

What I love most about Arbonne is how simple it is. There are only 4 levels and you get to decide which one is the right fit for what you are looking for in your life. I am a very visual person so if you flip over your Wellness Profile you’ll find our compensation summary so you can really see what you can expect to earn. Like I said before, I teach and train people who want to make a couple hundred dollars a month and people who want to make several thousand dollars a month. This business can be supplemental income or a replacement income. You get to decide which level appeals to you and I can help you achieve it.

Verbiage on talking about the compensation plan (adjust numbers to whatever the sheet will say) • As a brand new consultant just getting started, you can expect to earn between $50-$900 a month depending on how quick you get launched • Most people are going to promote to district manager within their 1st-3rd month in the business and at this level your pay basically doubles and you start

earning off your personal purchases. So a DM can expect $300-$1500 a month depending on how many bonuses they choose to take advantage of. For most people if they opened their bank account at the end of the month and saw an extra $1000 in there... that would make a big difference and that's really not hard to do with this business.

• Area Manager we call the comma level because you're going to see a comma in your paycheck. Area Managers can expect $1200-$4500/month. NOTE: I like to put in realistic terms of what I have earned so I say $1200 up to I saw $5700 as an area manager. Just be honest though with your numbers.

• RVPs earn $5-$12k per month plus the Mercedes Benz stipend. • And NVPs are averaging about $22k/month. Pretty life changing!!!

Booking Games Always play the Booking Game. Always. It is the lifeline of your business! (see video) As an option, play the Dice Game. Deal or No Deal

Ok before we get to passing out catalogs to let you guys shop I have one game to play with you guys. It’s called Deal or no Deal. Have you heard of it?

Well tonight I'm Howie but with long hair! (this always gets them laughing) And instead of briefcases with money, you have envelopes with money.

The best deal we can give anyone is by getting a few friends together for a fun afternoon or evening of pampering and sampling the products. TIP: When launching someone new say, “We don’t expect friends and family to keep _______________ in business by buying hundred of dollars of product each month, you can if you want, but the best way you can help her is by hosting an event and allowing her to meet so me new people she may not already know.

The typical show is 3-7 people, so it doesn’t take an army. If you have a friend, a family member, and a neighbor… you’ve got a show!

DEAL is… “Yes I want to get a few friends together and you get to open up your envelope and find out what’s inside”

NO DEAL is… “No thanks, no explanation, just hand your envelope back… but you don’t get to peek at what you’re missing out on”

What is inside is either $5-$20 of Arbonne bucks that you get to take off on your order TONIGHT. TIP: (Optional):

OR it will say "host a show receive a free gift (optional) that you would bring to their show. So now that you have explained it the first person you ask should be the one who was really involved, asking a lot of questions and showing interest.

o You say, "OK Mary I know you really loved the nutrition how fun would it be to get 3 friends together and all do the program together. Or Suzy I

know you were really interested in the RE9 set how fun would it be to do mini facials with your friends. Let’s start with you...Deal or no Deal? Then

you have them open the envelope in front of everyone and say how much did you get. Most people when they see excitement it starts a chain

reaction and they all want to open the envelope.

Then after it’s all done I say, "how exciting you all get money off your orders tonight. And when you are doing your order be thinking of a date that will

work for you in the next couple of weeks and we will pencil your date in at the checkout station."

o They need to "pencil in" a date that night. No checking with friends. If they say that, respond with, "I totally understand. But what I find is that it’s

kind of like when you plan a wedding. You want everyone to come but in reality you know not everyone is going to make it and if you ask each

person individually what date works best for them they all will have a different date. So let’s find a date in the next 2 weeks that works for you

and I and you will invite everyone and whoever comes!

Dice Game (you’ll need 1 pair of dice, 11 cards, 11 envelopes & goodie bags with inexpensive prizes in them)

Prizes can be around $1-$5, buy them from the business supply list, key fobs, nail files, etc. You can use candy bars, inexpensive samples or little gifts you can pick up at a dollar store. Have one grand prize, such as a discontinued Thirty-One Product. Or you can choose something you have on hand. It should have a $15 to $30 perceived value.

SETTING UP: (make cards with the follow and insert in the envelopes Grand prize card is in the envelope marked #2 (The grand prize goes in envelope #2 because the odds of rolling 2 is the lowest of all the numbers we’re using; * “Win a Prize” cards are in envelopes #3, 4, 5, &12 – again lesser odds *”Win a Party” cards are in envelopes #6, 7, 8, 9, 10, &11 – high odds they will roll this!!!! Don’t seal the envelopes and reuse them at every party!!!! If you have done a party for a group and been with them a few times, move the prize around. Give one away every once in a while, because this makes them want to play it at their party!!

EXPLAIN THE “DICE GAME” AT YOUR SHOWS: “Ok everyone, it’s time for us to have some fun! (Customers always love this part!) “Sally, will you hold these dice for me?” (This is important! Putting the dice in their hand makes them more likely to play, and once someone starts, almost everyone plays!) We’re going to play a really fun game! It’s a game of chance! This is how it works: I have 11 envelopes in my hand. Inside each envelope is a card. Some of the cards say, “win a prize”, some say, “win a show”, and one says “Grand Prize!” Tonight the grand prize is …..(whatever you’ve chosen). If you choose to play, you’ll roll the dice and whatever number you roll, I’ll give you the corresponding envelope! Don’t open it until the end! I always say, “Don’t open them yet, because if you win the grand prize, no one else will play”. At the end you’ll open your envelopes together and see what you’ve won, and you’ll all be winners. You’ll either win a prize, or an opportunity to book a show and get everything Jen, our hostess, had in her arms (Stack the hostess) or the “grand prize.” ***This is very important; you must say this -----Now here are the rules! If you “win a prize”…you have to take the prize. If you win the “grand prize”… you have to take the “grand prize.” If you “win a show”…you have to book a show! So Sally will you start us off?” TIP: You don’t want to just say “who wants to play?” No one will play. You have to say, “Sally, will you start us off?” Then after Sally plays, go to the next person and say, “Sarah, do you want to play,” then after she plays or doesn’t, you go to the next person. Ask every person in the room! Then after everyone has played, (this part is optional), say “Don’t open your envelopes yet. I have another chance for you! If you choose to book a show before you open your envelope, you can have the grand prize for sure, once your show is held!...Plus whatever is in you envelope!” Then you go around the room and ask each individual again, “Would you like to book a show and get the grand prize for sure? (Optional) When I want to book a lot of parties in a certain month, you can say whoever decides to go ahead and book a party in “whatever month”, I will give you an additional $10 at your party! This works great, so when they win a party, they book in the month you pick. I do remind them that a party is $200 or more in sales.

Close Strong This is the most critical part of your whole presentation! Hand out catalogs and the two-sided Most Popular Packages w/Order Form Sheets and pens.

TIP: If you think the products are expensive, no one will see their value! You must realize that our products are AMAZING and that there is nothing else on the market that compares.

Go around one by one and ask, “So Susie, what are you getting?” Or, “Kelly can I touch you up?” Do the primer, foundation and lip gloss on half or all of her face. Watch her eyes light-up and her friend’s reactions. Put Re9 bottles in people’s hands while you answer questions. Listen to needs and help people get the best deal. Know Arbonne’s products are worth every penny and better than what they can find anywhere! Privately ask the top people if they want to meet for coffee to learn how this business works because you really liked them and think they would be

great. Hand Curiosity folders to key people when they leave. Only give RE9 samples, privately at the end, if people are on the fence. Continue to CONNECT with people! People want to do business with people they KNOW, LIKE, & TRUST! Put people’s needs before your own. Listen to learn how to serve their needs in a professional way. Remember, the real work begins after the party. Follow-up is key. Always CALL at LEAST two people from each presentation and ask them to meet to

hear more about the business.

Check-out Language

Step 1: Ask

“How does your skin feel?” (this will either be their hand or face depending on where they did the products) “

What is the one thing you would like to change about your skin?” (mirror back EXACTLY what they say, “i.e. puffiness around your eyes”)

Step 2: Recommend

Almost always you will say - “I recommend the Re9 system and I want you to get the best deal possible to get these products - it is our 50% off value pack.” (point to #1 on the Most Popular Packages sheet).

PAUSE and don’t say anything else - give them time to respond to you

Step 3: If yes, place order and go to step 6

If no - again, agree and understand with them about their budget and say “the next best deal is to buy 4 Re9 products and get 1 free.” (Based on what they said in question #1, you will pick the 5 products that would be the best fit for their answer....in example above, Wash, Toner, Eye Cream, Day Cream, Night Cream)

PAUSE

Step 4: If yes or no - just place the order they want.

Step 5: After order written say:

“I know you gambled with your white envelope (or handed back your envelope) during the envelope game so you and since now that you have started with the system or our products - you will want to host one of these classes/shows/parties/etc. to get additional discounts off the items you didn’t get today. Would you like to set this up Mar or April?”

If yes, book class/show/party right then (GET A DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR) and appointment/time to pick up guest list. Don’t say I will call you.

IF no, just agree and ask permission to follow up regarding the products.

MOST IMPORTANT STEP... ......

Step 6: Lastly say one of these questions:

“You impressed me tonight with your personality - you would be great at this – have you ever considered looking at something like this?”

“I am looking for people just like you to partner up with me, would you explore this opportunity over a cup of coffee? You would know within 15 min if this might be for you and you can say no. We don’t convince anyone to do this.”

If yes or hesitate, book a coffee appointment right then (GET THE APPT on your calendar) - don’t say I will call you.

If no, agree and ask permission to follow up.

Ask people to take a look at the business

Privately as you are checking out, ask EVERYONE to take a peek at the business: o “I really enjoyed meeting you, Arbonne is filled with really high caliber people like yourself. Would you like to grab coffee to take a peek at how

this business works?” o Then STOP TALKING (we tend to go on and on and dig a hole).

You will get three responses:

1. Sure... Response: set a day/time right away.

2. I don’t know/no, and a reservation (I hate sales, I don’t know enough people, I don’t have enough time, etc.) This is NOT a no. They are just giving you information about the barriers, but the wheels are turning! Don’t object to these barriers at this moment, instead RELATE. “I understand, I totally felt the same way. What I learned is Arbonne is

different, We have a professional System for Success so you don’t have to be X, Y, Z.” (IMPORTANT: No more detail than this -- STOP TALKING)! Can you meet tomorrow at 5:00 to learn a little more? It may not be a fit -- but Arbonne is one of those things that is AT LEAST worth checking

out.

3. No, I’m not interested at all. Answer: I totally understand. It was great to meet you, I’ll be in touch about your products. If you really think someone would be incredible and they said NO you can still call them and say, “You know, I’ve really been thinking about

you as someone who would be incredible at Arbonne and someone with whom I would love to partner. Would you humor me and meet for coffee/go to an event? It totally may not be a fit, but maybe you could be a referral source? From a smart business perspective, it’s at least worth checking out!”

(Stop talking -- don’t try to sell Arbonne on the phone, just ASK for the appointment).

TIP: BRING IN YOUR UPLINE FOR THE INITIAL COFFEE/CONFERENCE CALL “Take a Peak at the Biz” presentations so you can learn! You must learn this step to be duplicable.

The goal of our presentations is to help you build a business in a professional way. Most people are not interested in Arbonne until they hear our full presentation. That’s why I never “vomit” Arbonne on people when I’m asking them to host. I plant the seed and tell them about my part-time business and our amazing products and business, but then I PULL IT BACK to intrigue them just enough to host, meet for coffee, try a sample, attend my party or an event.

We are never in the business of convincing people to buy or do Arbonne! However, YOU CAN BE 100% CONFIDENT that when you get in front of enough people, enough people WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH OUR PRODUCTS AND THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE PRAYING FOR THIS BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.

We share products and the business professionally, with conviction, and from our heart. If the products are a fit we help people get a great discount on products they would buy ANYWAY but with MUCH safer ingredients, clinically proven RESULTS, and at a discount.

Put people’s needs before your own and you will have a thriving business. If it’s a glass of wine and to have someone take interest in their lives, meet them there. If it’s a lip-gloss and to find a way to finally take care of their skin or health, help them! In 30 presentations you will have a few cancelled parties, a few no-sales/ no envelopes booked, a few high volume/high envelopes, and you will find business builders, PCs who love the products and reorder, and you will find an ACE. You can do all 30-parties in one month, 3-months, 6-months, or you can spread them out over a year to get all of these results. These results are just like any other business!

ADDENDUM Verbiage for Poker Chip game: It's so much more fun if I am not the only one talking. (If launching someone new..."And eventually new consultant will be doing shows on her own, so it is great for her to hear these questions and how they are answered.") So anytime you ask a question about product you will earn 1 chip, questions about the business you will earn 2 chips and at the end whoever has the most chips will win a prize. So feel free to get competitive. Note: Make this game fun all throughout. The first person who gets a chip announce "She is winning". When you get to talking about the business let everyone know this is where they can rack up a bunch of chips. Note: If someone asks me a question I can't answer, this is what I say: "That's a great questions. I'm not sure but I can definitely find out for you. But for asking me a question I can't answer you can have 2 chips!!"

Fun Letter Game for What makes Arbonne Different Enough about me, I am so excited to share a little bit about Arbonne, what I love about these products and what makes us different. We are going to play a little game here and this is a GREAT way to get even more poker chips! For each letter I say, I want you to say one word to describe the hostess that starts with that letter. 4. Next letter is T – T in Arbonne stands for Testing! We are Dermatologist, Pediatrician, and Ophthalmologist tested. Arbonne is also hypoallergenic: Arbonne products are formulated without the use of certain ingredients that are frequently known to cause allergic reactions, and contain no harsh chemicals. The term “hypoallergenic” does not mean non-allergenic, there is no such thing.

5. Which moves us right along to our next letter C – C stands for Chemical Free!! This is my absolute favorite thing about Arbonne and what makes us so very different from many other companies. Free from harmful chemicals (NO parabens, phthalates, petroleum, toluene, PABA, etc.) Parabens are a preservative used in many personal care products and it allows the products to have a 10-30 year shelf life. Parabens as an ingredient have come under concern because parabens are endocrine disrupters -- chemicals that interfere with endocrine (or hormone system). Most people apply 5-15 personal care products over a day so you will want to make sure your products are free of parabens. No Mineral Oil By-product of crude/petroleum oil (TOXIC) - Occlusive (molecules too big to fit in pores) It’s like putting saran-wrap on your skin! Fragrances - FDA doesn’t regulate umbrella of chemicals to make-up the ‘fragrance’ of hidden ingredients. Dyes and fragrances are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. Our products smell awesome and what you smell is nature.

6. Next letter is V – V means Vegan Certified - Which means there are no antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides from the animals or animal by-products. We are also PETA-certified and Cruelty free (one of the few companies to always be on PETA’s certified list)

7. Another favorite of mine – F and F stands for FREE. And no, our products aren’t free but with the discounts we offer you will feel like they are!
