American Entomologist is a quarterly magazine that publishes articles and information of general entomological interest. Feature articles cover subjects of a broad interest to amateur and professional entomologists.
Environmental Entomology publishes reports on the interaction of insects with the biological, chemical, and physical aspects of their environment and is divided into the following sections: physiological ecology, chemical ecology, population ecology, community and ecosystem ecology, insect-symbiont interactions; biological control — parasitoids and predators, biological control — microbials, biological control — weeds, behavior; pest management,
sampling, plant-insect interactions, molecular ecology and evolution, transgenic plants and insects.
FEMS Microbiology Letters focuses largely on concise articles in all topics in microbiology, particularly those meriting urgent publication by virtue of their originality, general interest and their contribution to new developments in their field. MiniReviews synthesising the latest progress in specific areas, or highlighting interdisciplinary developments are also encouraged.
Annals of the Entomological Society of America especially invites submission of manuscripts that integrate different areas of insect biology, and address issues that are likely to be of broad relevance to entomologists. Articles also report on basic aspects of the biology of arthropods.
FEMS Microbiology Ecology publishes high quality papers that make a significant contribution to the field. It covers microorganisms in soil, aquatic and atmospheric habitats – including extreme environments – and includes natural, artificial and managed systems.
Ranking 4th in Microbiology in the 2012 Thomson-Reuters Citation Reports, FEMS Microbiology Reviews publishes invited reviews from leading authors to provide comprehensive and authoritative coverage on key issues in microbiology.
