You'll likely never hear complaints about Seiko in general.

Excellent quality, reliability and value.

If you want seiko may I recommend using this site; they are having a sale on Seikos; I own

the Orange monster on rubber and the Black Monster on SS bracelet which I purchased from

this site; they are authorized Seiko dealers as well as Android dealers;

I just came from my favorite book store, and I read the new International watch magazine

and they had an article on fake watches and Internet purchasing;

http://www.longislandwatch.com/Seiko..._Watches_1.htm was one of the Internet

companies featured in the article; apparently they are Authorized dealers of all their

watches; I didnt know that; know I feel even more confident about purchasing from them.

In my opinion Seiko dive watches are by far the best watch for the money and to a point,

better than watches ten times there cost. It would be like comparing a Honda to a Harley.

This 007 of mine is at least 25 years old, it has seen more water, weather and abuse than a

watch should ever be subjected to and it has never faltered.

That's good info to know I'm actually helping the wife of one of my partners who wants to

pick one up for his birthday in Sept, but after looking at the pictures Flyback posted now I'm

looking at them myself.I dont know why I haven't looked before now. I think I've been

missing out on a great brand

I've had one forever and never had a problem with it. I had a Seiko when I was in the

service in Viet Nam and literally had it blown off of my wrist in a mortar attack, our sappers

found the watch two days later with only a couple of links on it and huge scratches in the

sapphire crystal, the day dial was stuck between the two languages but the watch was still

running and keeping the correct time. I still have that watch and it still keeps good time.

Never be afraid to buy a Seiko.

Boating and tubing and all sorts of water sports. It takes all I can give it with no troubles at

all... mines 3 yrs of daily wrist time...

Page 35: Are Seiko Divers they pretty good quality

IMO it's pretty hard to beat Seiko's quality:value quotient.

Hope you find one you like and post some pictures too!

My black Monster from Marc at LongIslandwatch.com should be here tomorrow. Been putting

it off too long, can't wait. Owned an old 007 for a brief period when I was in school, always

missed the look of that one. Great watches.

I'm a big fan. I've had 4 (still own 3) and I love the seiko dive watches. Seiko does dive

watches right. Although all mine are quartz, they have end of life indicators (second starts to

tick every 2 seconds) to alert you that your battery is low/needs changing.

Here are the 3 I still have:

I have two of the origional Monsters, Black and orange dial models, got them when Loer was

selling Seiko divers. They are a real good watch for the money, they use the same Seilo

movement that Invicta uses in their $115.00 Diver. They use to have a cult following. The

workmanship is second to none, great bracelet, very comfortable, has extension link and the

lumanosity is the brightest I have ever seen. I have had them for 6 years now and they are

running great and keeping good time.

The SII NH25A movement used in some new Invicta models is similar to but not the same as

the Seiko 7S26.
