1. Fall Quarter – (October – mid-December) To Do: Apply to at least 2 schools Write Personal Statement
Get at least 2 letters of recommendations2. Winter Quarter – (January 1st – April) To Do: FAFSA or WASFA & scholarship applications Contact chosen school & arrange finances3. Spring Quarter – (May & June) To Do: Commit to your future school Graduate on June 10th
What is financial aid?
• Money to pay for college or technical school, training
– Grants (federal and state need)– Loans (credit based, must be paid back)– Work-study (must get a job on campus to receive)– Scholarships (apply and meet deadlines)– College Bound Scholarship (signed up in 7th or 8th
grade) – Must meet eligibility requirements, such as income, U.S. citizen or DACA, no felony convictions, at least a 2.0 GPA

– Parents & Students: Attend FAFSA Night – Thursday, December 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC
