1. General Information
CONFIDENTIAL PUBLICATION - This document is only for circulation
within NAFAS affiliated clubs.
The information must not be otherwise copied or distributed.
DATA PROTECTION - The information in this document is derived from
the Flowers North West database which is managed in accordance with
the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
BLUE FORMS - When inviting a Judge, Demonstrator, Speaker or Educator
(JDS&E) the official NAFAS Blue Form should be used. When completed
and signed this signifies a contract between the Club and the invitee. The
day, date, time and venue are then confirmed. Cost of fees, flowers and
other expenses will also be established.
VAT - When a Judge/Demonstrator/Speaker/Educator is VAT registered
the Registration Number must be quoted on the Blue Form. VAT is
payable on the total bill. If this is not shown the club should refuse to pay
VAT.
SCHEDULES - It is recommended that the Judge is sent a draft schedule for
comment prior to its publication.
COMMENT CARDS - Area Judges’ Comment Cards are available from the
Judges’ Officer.
ADDITIONAL BLUE FORMS - please write to the JDS&E Secretary enclosing
an A5 SAE.
(CPD) - indicates that a Demonstrator or Judge has attended one or more
Continuing Professional Development qualifying events, or has completed a
CPD Log during the last 3 years.

After removal of his or her name from the List for a period of 2 years a Judge,
Demonstrator or Speaker is required to retake the Area Test to be reinstated.
