VII. Major Issues• The Economy is one of Argentina’s major

problems– Argentina was deep in debt in 2002– President Kirchner improved the economy,

but made a lot of countries angry• Missed some debt payments

– His wife (the new president) needs to keep it up, but to be on time with foreign creditors
