The touring experience enhances both the technical ability and tactical awareness of players

through our special program focused on in depth video analysis of games and training

sessions at South America’s state-of-the-art soccer facility: Buenos Aires Football.

CEO Santiago Hirsig is highly regarded among soccer aficionados as one of Argentina’s most influential midfielders of the last decade. Santiago captained San Lorenzo-a top Argentine club-to a national championship in 2007. He also starred for Huracan and Arsenal before ending his highly successful career in Major League Soccer with Kansas City. Mr. Hirsig has carried forward his professional soccer success into business success as developer of sports-related projects. Mr. Hirsig is a Founding member and CEO of Argentina Soccer Tour.

Executive Director Manuel Poch (B.A., Honors Mass Communications, Southern Illinois University) played semi-professional soccer in Argentina and the United States. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, Mr. Poch has vast experience in sports-focused management, consulting, and travel. Mr. Poch’s project management skills make him an important asset as Executive Director of Argentina Soccer Tour.

Training Program Director Alejandro Kohan is one of the most highly respected physical trainers and fitness coaches in South American soccer. He has been integral to the success of most soccer clubs in Argentina’s powerful first division and at the international level. Prof. Kohan has coached legendary Daniel Passarella’s illustrious staff at many famous clubs including River Plate of Argentina, A.C Parma of Italy’s Serie A, Monterrey of Mexico, as well as the Men’s National Team of Uruguay. Prof. Kohan is a highly-sought after and frequent speaker at conferences and advanced courses in soccer physical training both within Argentina and throughout South America. He manages his own physical training consultancy to help top soccer clubs achieve optimum player conditioning and maximum performance in preparation for important competitions. Prof. Alejandro Kohan is the Training Program Director of Argentina Soccer Tour.

Program Development and Promotions Director Anita Kovacevic (B.A., B.Ed, M.A, Ph.D. Candidate History, University of Toronto) is currently also Marketing and Promotions Director for Go Sport Net, an online sports management site and Managing Director at PEAC Academy, a private school for elite athletes in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A former high school teacher and university lecturer in English and History, and a former small business owner, Ms. Kovacevic combines a keen business sense with her academic expertise. Ms. Kovacevic directs promotional campaigns and develops tour packages and academic/ cultural course curricula for Argentina Soccer Tour.
