An Aria is the blending of different structural musical notes creating an enchanting melody. Visionaire is proud to introduce the Aria series, a diverse blend of architectural shapes, paramount optical systems, superior mechanical features, and lighting sources designed to strike the perfect note for any outdoor architectural lighting project.

The ARI-1 is a low profile luminaire designed to integrate easily into any architectural environment. Vertical lamp fixture performance is offered in an equally elegant fixture style with the ARI-2 dome top fixture. This photometric workhorse is ideal for large parking and area lighting projects. The post top mounted versions of the Aria add another architectural dimension to this unique product family. To compliment the pole mounted Aria fixtures, we offer the Aria Sconce (ARS) and the Aria Bollard (ARB) series of fixtures.

The Aria series is the right choice for street lighting, shopping centers, office buildings, campuses and pedestrian area lighting. The Aria is a one-of-a-kind fixture family diverse enough to compliment a wide array of practical and aesthetic venues.

Low Profile - Flat Lens

The ARI-1 offers a sleek, low profile exterior housing and upsweep

(standard) mounting arm. The one-piece die cast aluminum door

frame is opened by a tool-less “push” latch. This provides direct access

to the lamp and ballast components making the ARI-1 extremely easy

to install and service. Solid installation is a snap with the new Visionaire

Aria three-bolt mounting pattern. The Aria mounting arm houses the

ballast assembly to allow more space in the fixture housing for superior

reflector components. New sharp cutoff Type 4 forward throw optics

make the ARI-1 an excellent choice for reducing spill light on nearby

property.

Arm MountDeep Housing - Flat Lens

The ARI-2 combines all of the mechanical features of the ARI-1 with

vertical lamp photometric performance. Architecturally, the deep

housing ARI-2 offers another great Aria style to choose from. The

ARI-2 features the patented vertical lamp Vision™ reflector system in

four different IES patterns; Type 2, 3, 4 and 5 Vision™ reflectors are

available in the ARI-2.

Post TopLow Profile - Flat Glass

The pole top mounted ARI-1-PT enhances the flexibility of the Aria line.

Two polished aluminum arms support the ARI-1-PT housing to minimize

the fixture size and enhance the surrounding landscape. The support

arms disappear into the cast door frame to provide a solid mount

which is critical with this fixture style. The ballast is located in the base of

the fixture for tool-less access and serviceability. The shape of the bal-

last assembly compliments the shape of the ARI-1-PT fixture housing.

Post TopDeep Housing - Flat Glass

Vertical lamp photometry in a pole top installation can be achieved

when using the ARI-2-PT. The subtle dome top enhances the surrounding

landscape with smooth lines and curves. The patented Vision™ reflector

system provides unsurpassed photometric coverage. With a maximum

400-watt lamp source, the ARI-2-PT can be used in large parking areas

as well as smaller pedestrian areas and walkways.

Post TopLow Profile or Deep Housing - Teardrop Lens

The pole top mounted ARI-1-PT-TD

and ARI-2-PT-TD are available with

an optional tear drop lens. This

lens offers a “beacon effect” to

the Aria when the need to draw

attention is required. The visual

effects created by this lens are

pleasing to the eye and easily

create architectural ambience.

Bollard

Complimenting the pole mounted Aria fixture line is the unique Aria

Bollard (ARB-1 & ARB-2). The top of the Aria bollard is a miniature

version of the pole mounted ARI-1 and ARI-2. NEW LED lamp source

allows for precise walkway lighting in an energy efficient source. The

twin support arms match the twin arm assembly used with the ARI-1

& ARI-2 series post top fixture series.

Wall Sconce

The wall/building mounted Aria Wall Sconce (ARS) is available in

the low profile ARI-1 design and the dome top ARI-2 design. The

ARS includes the tool-less entry feature and superior photometric

performance.

Housing

Die cast aluminum fixture housing is 20” diameter with integral tool-less push latch sealing mechanism. Fixture housing encloses the lamp and Vision™ reflector components exclusively. Ballast assembly is conventiently located in the Aria mounting arm.

Door Frame

Die cast aluminum door frame incorporates silicone channel gaskets to seal the housing and arm completely. Opening the hinged door frame allows for direct access to the lamp, ballast and reflector. The door frame includes a secure aircraft cable support to make servicing of the fixture quick and efficient.

Reflectors

Patented Vision™ series vertical lamp reflectors are used in ARI-2 fixtures. These segmented Alzak aluminum reflectors are available in four distribution patterns (2, 3, 4, & 5) with the type 2, 3 and 4 field rotatable in 90° increments. ARI-1 horizontal lamp reflectors integrate segmented Miro-4 Alzak aluminum panels to create highly efficient site lighting performance.

Post Top Mount

The cast aluminum post top mount fitter houses the ballast assembly. The contractor friendly, tool-less mounting hardware is concealed inside the post-top fitter adding exceptional architectural appeal to the post-top mounted Aria fixtures.

Ballast Assembly

Ballast is mounted to a heavy duty hinge assembly allowing for easy access and removal. Quick disconnect(s) supplied for incoming power and outgoing wiring to the lamp for ease of installation and maintenance. HID ballasts are CWA or HPF regulating auto transformers available in Pulse Start, Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium. Aria is also available in LED and Induction light sources.

Aria was designed with the environment in mind. The unique design allows lighting designers and building owners to gain control over glare, light pollution and wattage issues. The patented Vision™ reflector system allows for maximum light with fewer poles, meaning lower initial construction costs as well as continued energy savings over the life of the product. Furthermore, Visionaire embraces the Dark Sky commitment to site lighting design. All Aria fixture styles are full-cutoff (excluding teardrop lense) creating a neighborhood friendly family of products.

The Aria features HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL lamp reflector systems that take full advantage of the benefits each lamp position can offer. By combining this wide variety of reflector systems with HID, LED, Induction and Fluorescent lamp sources, the Aria becomes the most versatile and current environmental fixture available today. Combining optics and beauty is the true focus of the Aria series.

Vertical Lamp Optics

The ARI-2 series emphasizes our traditional vertical lamp performance advantage in the market place, fewer poles, less electricity and lower installation/maintenance costs. Type 5, 4, 3, and 2 optical systems are available through 400 watts.

Horizontal Lamp Optics

At 20” in diameter, the ARI-1 is a compact, horizontal lamp architectural fixture that provides excellent performance. The new internal Light Trespass Eliminator (LTE) provides sharp cutoff behind the fixture to eliminate spill light and allow the Aria to meet any local lighting restriction.

Roadway Lighting Optics

The low profile, die cast aluminum ARI-1 fixture is offered with a NEW roadway (T2R and T3R) lighting reflector package. These reflectors are designed around High Pressure Sodium (HPS) mogul base lamps ranging from 70 to 400 watts. The superior optics of the Aria along with easy-to-install and service mechanical features make this product family ideal for roadway lighting applications.

LED lamp sources are offered in all of the Aria family of light fixtures. With 95% efficiency, this LED lamp package is the best available in the industry. The LED reflector systems are currently available in Type 5 and Type 3 distribution patterns. Our Wall Sconce (ARS) and Bollard (ARB) are ideal choices for LED lamps sources. In addition to these applications, the Aria LED is intended for roadway, walkway, parking lot, and façade lighting applications. Aria LED systems are available up to 125 watts.

Visionaire is pleased to incorporate both “Icetron” from Sylvania and the latest Philips “Induction” extended lamp life technologies into the new Aria series. Visionaire has designed special optical systems to maximize their light output for Roadway and General Lighting applications. Induction systems offer up to ten years of lamp life, high lumen maintenance, and excellent color rendition. Philips Induction lamps are offered in 55, 85 and 165 watts. Sylvania Icetron lamps are offered in 70, 100 and 150 watts.

FinishesAria is offered in an exquisite palette of nine architectural color finishes. All finishes feature the Quali-Guard® process, an electrostatically applied polyester powder paint that is oven baked for maximum adherence and finish hardness. This minimum 4 to 5 mil thickness paint process provides exceptional durability and weather resistance. Custom colors are available – consult factory.
