CUSTOM PPIPERSONALIZED PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Each day of PPI is geared specifically to the trainee

that is purchasing the day of training. This can include

hands-on grooming of a variety of cats as well as

instruction focusing on any of the following suggested

topics (or other topics requested by the trainee):

Cat Temperaments & Handling Skills

Handling Highly Aggressive Felines

Building a Cat Grooming Business

Marketing, Advertising and PR

Pricing Structures

Business Policies - Development & Enf

Client Retention & Maximization

Dealing with Competition

Cat Breeds, Colours and Coat Types

Common Feline Health Issues - Signs & Sy

Grooming At-Risk Cats

Working with Geriatric Cats

Grooming for Cat Shows

It is recommended that each day of PPI training include

both hands-on grooming instruction, as well as instruction

on any of the above-mentioned topics. It is our belief that

both grooming skills and sound business practices are

required for the successful and profitable operation of a

cat grooming business.

PERSONALIZED PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Cost: $900 per day or $3500 for 4 consecutive days

Ideal for groomers of all experience levels, including

beginners. Will include private instruction with Sarah

and will go at the student's pace to improve skills in

handling, grooming and introduction to business.

(For Students Who Have Already Completed a

Minimum 4 days of PPI)

Cost: $550 per day or $2000 for 4 consecutive days

Hone your cat grooming skills, work on your CFMG

practical exams and your choice of additional

grooming instruction from the list on the previous page.

UP-SKILL PACKAGE

Cost: $250 per day

Schedule a refresher, request to work with at-risk or

highly aggressive/challenging cats, hone your solo

cat grooming skills, and/or pick the brain of growing

a lucrative and thriving cat only grooming business.

MASTERY (FOR CFMGS ONLY)

NOTE: It is possible to provide PPI training to 2 people at one time. If a trainee wishes to bring a

friend, relative, co-worker, etc. with them, simply fill out 2 separate registration forms (1 per

person) and select the same training dates.

DETAILS FOR PPI AT ARISTOCATS

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Each trainee needs to have the following list of items for any hands-on instruction

Air Muzzle

Greyhound Style Comb

Nail Trimmer (appropriate for cats)

Clippers with a #10 Blade

If any of the above items are not brought to PPI training, they are available for hire at the start

of the training day (security deposit required).

Any other necessary tools, equipment and grooming products are provided by the Aristocats

Feline Day Spa and use of such is included in the cost.

CERTIFICATION EXAMS

Both written and practical CFMG certification exams can be taken at any time during PPI

training. However, most students requirement a minimum amount of hands-on instruction prior to

being able to take and pass the practical exams. We are only able to assess a trainee's

readiness for one or more practical exam after a minimum of 1 day of PPI training.

Written exams require the purchase and study of the 4 corresponding Study Packets or the

Written Exam Certification Prep (online version). It is helpful to also have the Breed & Colour

Study Aids to assist with students for the Breed, Colours & Genetics written exam.

There is a separate fee for certification exams that is paid directly to NCGI. Exams can be taken

over a period of time. There is no expiration date on when the 9 exams much be completed, as

long as NCGI membership is kept up to date. Failed exams can be retaken (retake fee applies).

PPI training fees are payable by Paypal invoice within 14 days of making a booking.

Fees are nonrefundable. With adequate notice, fees may be applied to a later date.

HOURS

8:30am - 4:00pm daily. Doors open at 8:15am daily.

1 hour is scheduled for a lunch break each day of PPI.
