WISCONSIN CHAPTER PROFILE

Chapter Description: NARI Milwaukee, Inc. was chartered on July 12, 1961. Fifteen firms in the home remodeling industry joined together to establish the local chapter. It was the fourth chapter in the nation to be chartered. Today Milwaukee is the largest local chapter in NARI with over 700 members and is respected nationally. Many programs that have been developed in Milwaukee have been adopted by other chapters across the country. NARI Milwaukee’s leadership and goals of encouraging ethical conduct, sound business practices, and professionalism in the remodeling industry have led to the growth of the remodeling industry not only locally but nationwide and assisted in making NARI a recognized authority in that industry. With over 55 years of experience NARI Milwaukee is a forum for professional remodelers and an ally of the homeowner. Members benefit from two consumer shows, group advertising, educational activities, discount purchase programs from local and national suppliers/service providers, plus the services offered by NARI. Industry Partner Chapter Involvement: NARI Milwaukee doesn’t see Industry Partner involvement establishing off a preset menu of opportunities. We believe it's about NARI Milwaukee and the Partner building a relationship and custom partnership. The conversation starts with what are the Partners marketing objectives. Obviously, our values and industries align and NARI Milwaukee has an audience for the Partners brand and product. Now it’s a matter of who does the Partner want to target (consumer/member) and what do they want to target (i.e., brand awareness, drive sales, find new customers, etc.). Does the Partner have sponsorship criteria; what are the most meaningful benefits in a partnership; what type of partnership is the Partner looking for - an event, program or yearlong presents and
