  • Early Designs and Concepts: Influenza

The idea expressed in the image above was a simple one, due to the flus age as a virus I initially thought that having him sit in a rocking chair reminiscing about days gone by would be a good fit.

At this point I was thinking of making the fluu a more sympathetic and changing the relationship that it had with the cell to one of tragedy and not abuse.

I later tried created the image above to give myself a little creative freedom as a sort of what if I wasnt limited by skill budget or any other factor. I returned the flu back to its more war like roots.

I toned this one back down a bit trying to be more realistic with my ideas. I would later change this idea a final time but keep the flu character i had created in it.

  • Cont. pt2 At this point I had found what I felt was an optimum point to begin my animation from, the characters where simple enough to animate yet looked unique enough to keep the audience entertained. A few more tweaks would be made but this would ultimately be the final inspiration for my concept art.

  • Early Designs and Concepts: Horse

Began with looking at real horses to see how I could best simplify them to match the style that I was going for in my animation

Began to look at how the actual trojan horse might have looked and created a sketch based off of it.

  • At this point i had found what I felt to be a good point to create my final image as the horse (left) had a shape i felt mixed in well with my world.
