During this session you will see how to access Primo Studio, and then discover how Primo Studio can be used to customize Primo’s user interface.

1.3 Getting to Primo Studio

Notes:

To get to Primo Studio, first go to the link - http://primo-studio.exlibrisgroup.com. You’ll be prompted to enter in the base URL of your Primo User Interface, as well as the view you would like to preview customizations on.

If you have Primo VE, select the Primo VE checkbox. Then click the link to start your Primo Studio.

1.4 Primo Studio

Notes:

Using Primo Studio you can easily customize the look and feel of your Primo user interface. Simply select the type of change you’d like to make in the left panel, and see the change take effect in the panel on the right.

The Theme tab allows us to customize the color palette of the view. The Images tab allows us to replace the Primo logo, favicon, and the resource type icons. The Features tab allows us to add features and add-ons that are developed and maintained by the Primo Community. The CSS Editor tab allows us to make changes to the CSS, or Cascading Style Sheet file. The Download Package tab allows us to download the customization package after we have previewed the changes here in Primo Studio. And the Upload Package tab allows us to upload a customization package that has already been customized so that we can make additional changes to it here in Primo Studio.
