Artisan Cellular Shades with Simple FitTM

Specification Guide

Inside Mount Installation

Width: Measure the inside window frame at the top of the window. Height: Measure the inside window frame at the middle of the window.

Record these measurements rounding down to the nearest 1/8”.

Ex: 36 3/16” will round down to an exact measurement of 36 1/

8”.

Note: Do not factor in any clearance deductions; the factory will make the

necessary deduction for your shade to fit properly.

Outside Mount Installation

Width: Measure the outside of the window frame. Height: Measure the outside of the window frame.

We recommend adding 3” to these measurements (1 1/

2” each side), so the shade overlaps the window

frame for full light control.

Note: Your recorded measurement will be used – no deductions or additions will be made for Outside Mount.

Using a metal measuring tape, measure each window individually (It’s common for window frame measurements to have slight differences, even in the same room).

Simple FitTM Installation

Peel the adhesive liner from each mounting plate. Place the Fixed End mount (left side) of the shade in the desired location. Raise the Trigger End (right side) into position.

In addition to instructions and bottom rail handle, Simple FitTM Installation shades include an accessory bag containing two additional mounting plates with pre-applied adhesive and one Simple FitTM Spacer.

Press Trigger inward (toward window glass) to engage the Simple Fit™ system, locking the shade into place.

Standard Bottom UpOpen from the bottom to adjust light control and privacy. Simple Fit™ Installation Method allows you to place your shade at the top or middle inside your window.

Top Down Bottom Up (TDBU)Floating middle and bottom rails allow you to open from the top or bottom, increasing street-level privacy while allowing for plenty of natural light.

Day-NightLike having two shades in your window. The top Glare Reducing or Light Filtering fabric allow for flowing light with low to moderate privacy. The bottom Room Darkening fabric provides maximum light control and privacy.

Cleaning Recommendation

DustingTo maintain the fresh appearance of your shade, with a light touch, dust regularly with a feather duster.

VacuumingUse a vacuum attachment for a deeper clean, being careful not to press too hard as to crease the fabric.

Spot CleaningUse warm water, mild detergent, and a non-abrasive cloth. Dab lightly or gently rub back and forth in the direction of the fabric pleats. Pat dry to remove excess water and leave the shade fully closed until completely dry.

Warning: Dry cleaning, full immersion in water, strong detergents, or spot cleaners are not recommended.
