Belhaven Theatre is celebrating its 15th year of productions with our most ambitious season to

date. Our season begins with John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer-Prize winning drama Doubt, a play which requires us to consider what it means to be sure of something. In October, our students will offer an outdoor storytelling event based on the Ghost Stories of Mississippi. Our new musical theatre professor, Dr. David Sollish, will have his Belhaven debut with Shrek, the Musical, set to take the stage in November. In conjunction with an effort to raise awareness of mental health issues, the theatre department will be presenting Marsha Norman’s Pulitzer-Prize winning play ‘night, Mother in February. Also in February, we will offer Christopher Marlowe’s classic account of Doctor Faustus, a mythic figure whose quest for knowledge leads him to a pact with the devil. The season will conclude in April with Little Shop of Horrors, a crowd-pleasing staple of musical theatre. We hope that you will join us at the theatre!
