Most people are familiar with the Pro Era produc-tion wonder-boy, Kirk Knight, because of his unexpected lyrical debut on Joey Badass’ “Am-

ethyst Rockstar” and Dizzy Wright’s “Untouchable”. But it’s underground enthusiasts who are chummy with both his crisp lyrical delivery and his position as a soundwave stylist.

If you scroll through Knight’s Twitter page, it’s pretty obvious that his fans are invested and inspired. Some refer to him as “too slept on”, the “B” in Beast Coast, and “the next big thing”. Others see him as the man with “immaculate flow” that they’ve been eagerly waiting on to drop a lengthy proj-ect. Surprisingly, the Brooklyn born producer and rapper has no music out; no EP or LP. Yet the young visionary’s musical timeline (beginning at the age of 15) has prepared him not only to create a buzz but also to think about his sound, image and who he [Kirk Knight] really is.

“When people know that you know about yourself, they respect you more. You get a better understanding of life and you can politic more with people,” Knight says. While Knight is conscious of his unique way and ease with words, he’s also fully aware that his sound and produc-tion is the quintessential addition to his rap style. And to remain unique, Knight understands that he has to consis-tently practice the art of his methodology.

IT’SMELEAFMAGNET BITCH MOVEMENT’SLEAF STARTED OFF HER CAREERWORKING IN A CLOSET. NOW SHE’S IN THE FOREFRONT,LEADING A MOVEMENT.

Leaf is jumping on the New York scene, repping not only her city, but her fellow ladies as well. Purveyor of the Magnet Bitch Movement, #MBM for those of you on social media, is leading a nationwide movement of young women making level head-ed business moves, as well as discovering and building them-selves creatively. Leaf curates the creativity of those around her and succeeds through singing.

Leaf the singer has been building her craft since she was a young girl, with piano and singing classes at the age of eight. She made the decision to seriously brand herself as an artist at the age of 14, at which time she had started recording out of her friend’s closet, gotta start somewhere, right? Two short years later she would find herself in a professional studio, since then she has released three projects, although she only considers the last two to be her “real” projects.  Her last proj-ect, Queen of Heart, which released in the spring, has been featured on sites such as 2DopeBoyz and DJ Booth.

The Leaf we know is heading the Magnet Bitch Movement, pushing young women to set and complete goals, as well as building yourself to be a better person. These rules are exem-plified in her 13 rules for living life like a boss. A major pillar in the #MBM lifestyle is putting out the energy you want to attract, making sure your frequency is on point! To experi-ence the movement in person, be sure to be on the lookout for Leaf’s art events, set to pop up all over the city, which Leaf, herself, will be curating.
