Mrs. M. Wicks was unanimously returned to the office of president for the eighth term at the 22nd annual meeting of Gosford District Hospital Ladies' Auxili· a~y. held in the Nurses' Home on Thursday, when $1400 was presented to the hospital.
Mrs. M. Anderson (sec· ~lilY) and Mrs. V. Kirkby (lrej~Surer) were also returned unopposed.

In thanking Mrs. Wicks, Mr. Boyce said that as auditor to the Auxiliary, he had known that $1,000 was to be presented to the Hospital Board, but that the extra $400 had come as a surprise.
Mrs. Wicks had explained earlier that the second sum of money had been voted to the board at the general me~ting, held on the same day just before the annual meeting.
