COMPANY PROFILE Arya Filament Pvt Ltd (AFPL) a unit of “ARYA GROUP” an ISO 9001-2008 certified company based at Indore having plant situated at Pithampur near Indore and at Haridwar (Uttaranchal State).
The Company was founded by Shri N.R. Agarwal who has 40 years of rich experience in filament and lighting industry. AFPL came into inception in year 1993 by setting up a filament / Molly wire plant and thereafter expanded its mfg range in year 1999 by entering in to the manufacturing of GLS / CFL / HID lamps, luminaries and accessories which are marketed across the country under the brand name of “ARYA”.
The company has following infrastructure and manufacturing facilities:
LAND & BUILDING- 1,59,000 Sq.Ft. of land with built-up area of more than 1,00,000 Sq.Ft.
WATER AND POWER 1000 KVA stationed load stationed load from MPEB with back up of the D.G. upto 550 KVA. Water connection from MPAKVN for uninterrupted supply with two borings inside the plant.
TRANSPORTATION Well connected with Rail and Road Transport. Air connectivity also good with Indore Airport.

IP Testing
The company has full fledged testing laboratories to test all above products which is manufacturing from GLS Lamp, HID lamps,FTL (T5) lamps , CFL lamps, Electrical fittings and accessories, Electronic ballast etc. The labs are well equipped with the latest imported and Indian instruments to test the products as per the relevant IEC and BIS standards. AFPL is also DGS&D Rate Contract holder for HPSV Lamps.
QUALITY RECOGNITION- (BIS CERTIFICATE /RELEVENT STANDARD APPROVAL)AFPL is proud to add that so far it has BIS certification for GLS lamps/HPSV lamps for all wattages / FTL 40 Watt / electronic choke 36 watts /CFL lamps 5 watt to 25W
AFPL is at the threshold of getting BIS certification for “ARYA” brand 28 Watt T5 street light fittings, 150 watt /250 watt HPSV fitting as grant of license is in process.
Thus, in near future AFPL will emerge as a unique company who is going to obtain BIS certification for fittings of above wattages.
AFPL lighting products has been tested and approved by the Independent Govt. Test lab such as:-• ERDA, Baroda, • National Test House, Gaziabad• ERTL, Okhla ND., • MSME Govt.Test lab at Kolkata and Bangalore.

ARYA LIGHTING PROJECT DIVISON
In the year 2007, AFPL ventured into works contract business (Projects) and so far executed works contracts worth Rs. 5 Crores.
AFPL has set up a separate Lighting Project Division which undertakes the designing, planning and estimation, installation and execution, maintenance and final handing over the Lighting project to the Customers, AFPL has the expertise in road lighting / high mast lighting system.
Some of the prestigious projects are :-
• High Mast lighting at MES, Mhow. • 100garden lighting projects of the Indore Municipal Corporations worth Rs.90.00 lacs • Beautification of the Mall road at MHOW cant by Cast Iron pole and the road lighting in the Cant. area, Mhow.• High Mast lighting outside the PMO office, the project awarded by CPWD • High Mast lighting of the Bhopal, Habibganj, Rewa, Itarsi, and Nizamuddin. • Central Street lighting project at DEWAS RALIWAY St ROAD, Dewas.

MARKETING SUPPORT AND AFTER SALES SERVICE
AFPL has Centralized Marketing office (CMO) at Indore, Madya Pradesh with dedicated marketing staff. The Marketing professionals are experienced and having good knowledge of the lighting field.
The CMO is well supported by 9 full fledged offices and warehouses in eight states with strong, dedicated marketing technical professionals to cater to the needs of its customers.
For the After sales Service, the company has set up a separate CSD (Customer Service dept) with service engineers / technicians at each Branch to cater to the after sales service requirements of the customers and handling of customer complaints if any. At AFPL, quality and customer core satisfaction is a-prime object, therefore, all “ARYA” branded products are thoroughly tested at in-house lab at plant before dispatch followed by third party inspection demanded by clients.
Quality wise “ARYA” brand products are consistent as well as at par /interchangeable with any other make as these products confirm to relevant BIS/IEC standard followed by all lamps and luminaries manufacturers. Raw material/components sourced from India /Abroad are thoroughly tested at the place of respective vendors before dispatch followed by in-house test procedures carried out at lab in plant before use. Therefore, ARYA brand lamps and luminaries assure longer life span.
Marketing Arrangement & Strategy:
The company AFPL has product range starting from lamp components (Industrial Raw material) to finish products such as lamps, CFL, Metal Halide and fitting. Looking into the vast product range, the company has following marketing strategy:-
(a) For Lamp Components (Raw Material). The company for its lamp components is looked after from factory with Delhi & Kolkata marketing personnel, and the end customer are mostly situated in western, northern and eastern part of India, such as Osram India Ltd., Surya Roshini Ltd., Wipro, Crompton Greaves etc., The company is having relation with these company for the last decade.
(b) For Finished product For finished lamp product, the company is having three pronged strategy looking into the different customer profile namely as below:-
* For OEM lighting customer – the company is doing the branding and merchandising for leading global brands like Osram, Bajaj and Surya.
* For Industrial & Institutional Sales – the company is looking after the segment through Institutional Marketing Department from H.O. with customer such as NTPC, BHEL, GEL, RAIL etc., The major business comes from tendering / E Tendering process.
* For Retail / Consumer Market – The company looking after this market through Consumer marketing department from Head Office with different branches at seven states, The company own brands ARYA is sold through 400 distributors on to 15000 retail outlets.
CUSTOMER FEED BACK / PERFORMANCE REPORT
The testimony of the ARYA lighting products has been proved by its ever increasing list of satisfied customers and the fact that the company is having FIVE ISI Mark from BIS , on the products such as GLS Lamps, HPSV lamps, Electronic Ballast for the FTL, Street lighting fixtures and CFL lamps.
The number of repeated orders in last 3 to 4 years from the same clients are the testimonials of its products expertise and performance as well as “SEAL OF APPROVAL” for “ARYA” brand products.
“ARYA” branded products are approved in Indian Railways /NTPC/ GAIL/SAIL/PORT TRUST Of INDIA, state owned power generation units, Coalfields including various cement plants/Municipal Corporations. The few performance reports received from the customers are enclosed herewith.
Arya collects customers feed back regularly by making telephonic enquiries / personal visits of sales staff / email. The collected feed back are compiled and analysed by the quality department and corrective actions are taken if required.
Future Vision
Arya plans to achieve the turnover of Rs 130 crores by 2014 end Expansion programme:
Manufacturing of New generation High power LED Lamps, LED lamps fixtures for indoor and outdoor lighting, solar lighting applications.
100% capacity expansion of Metal halide lamps
•Additional testing facility : i.Purchase of testing equipment for EMI/EMC for the electronic ballasts.
•Future marketing plan
The company wishes to become an approved supplier to the prestigious Govt. undertakings such as ICF, DEFENCE, ISRO CAT ETC.
The company wants to undertake the development of new products based on the design or application requirement of the user industries. The company has successfully developed the special fine high temperature moly wires for the ISRO and supplied them. We are further taken up the gold plated fine wire for the communication antenna to be installed in the space satellite.
The company is also working with the NAVY for development of the patronized fittings including the navigation led light aviation lamps. The proto type is being developed in the factory.
The company is further developing high mast flood lighting arrangements, LED based for low power consumption and energy efficient to give optimum light solution.
