As Christians we believe that, irrespective of where we live, what we own or

what we look like, each of us is made in God’s image. This means we each have a God-given dignity. So we

must treat others with great respect and fairness

because God created them, too.

“God created man in the image of himself, in the

image of God he created him, male and female he

created them.” Genesis 1:27

“All human beings are born free and equal in

dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason

and conscience and should act towards one

another in a spirit of brotherhood.”
