What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I believe my trailer can be distributed on an umber of different platforms for example; Social media websites Music stores Newsagents/convenient stores Gigs and festivals

Because of web 2.0 digital publishing has become more popular with 17% of magazines now also available online along with the physical print. This would be better because now spend most of their time online; which means it would become prolific.

Gigs and festivals are a good way to distribute, because my target audience would be there because of the artists and type of music.( For example V-fest Glastonbury and Love-box).

I believe music stores such as HMV would be a good way to distribute my magazine, also stores like JD; because they distribute a similar magazine called RWD

Beur MediaThis is a good example of a company that would distribute my product; the company manages more 600 magazines around the world. They manage some iconic magazine such as Kerrang!, MOJO and Q.

Beur also distribute Empire and Heat magazine which are very iconic in the movie magazine sector.

These magazine all have similar target audience and also similar stay out which means that my magazine could thrive under Beur as it is very similar to other media products.

In general Beur is the best distributor of my magazine because of our target audience and style and it seems to know where to send magazines as other products have thrived under their ditribution.

Time Inc (Previously known as IPC) Media

I believe they would be a good company to distribute my magazine, mainly because they are based in the UK in which my target audience is based. They have distributed a very popular magazine in NME which also has similar target audience.This company would help appeal to my target audience here in the UK, and because of the success it has had with NME I think it would good.
