WHAT IS ASB? ASB Associated Student Body ASB stands for Associated Student Body. They are in charge of all student activities and provide support the various events that take place here at Tustin High School. The ASB also approves all the expenditures related to THS. They spend countless hours working to create an atmosphere where all students feel the Tiller Pride that you just can’t hide! WHO CAN JOIN? • Any student that maintains a 3.0GPA • Students that have flexible hours and time to serve the needs of THS • A Strong Moral Character • Students with a positive attitude and incredible spirit! TECHNOLOGYTheTechCommission’sprimaryresponsibilityistoset up and run audio and visual components of school eventsincludingassemblies,rallies,meetings,athleticgames,banquets,andvariouspresentationsassociatedwith Tustin High School.
ACTIVITIESTheActivitiesCommission’sroleatTustinHighistoprovidethegamesforassembliesandpeprallies.Theyalso create and direct the games which usually involve thestudentbodyandtheTustinHighStaff.
Community ServiceTheCommunityServicecommissionismostrecognizedforservingtheTustinCommunityonbehalfofTustinHigh.Itincludesteamingupwithblooddonationorganizations,theLeukemiaFoundationandtheAmeri-can Heart Association.
DanceTheDanceCommissionisinchargeofplanningandpromoting all THS dances including, Homecoming, WinterFormal,SadiesandProm.Theymakesurethatthe themes, colors and locations are prepared and finalized.
AthleticsTheAthleticsCommissionrecognizesthestudentathletesofTHS.TheyorganizetheASBCheeringandsupport of all the sports teams, and provide support with senior night recognitions. They also work with the AthleticDirectorstochoosetheAthleteoftheMonth.
ElectionsTheElectionsCommissionisresponsibleforoperatingand executing all election related activities from ASB &ClassElections,toCourtMembersforalltheASBdances.
PepThePepCommissionisinchargeofplanningandrunningassembliesandpepralliesthroughouttheschoolyear. They also exemplify School Spirit and help to lead the students of THS in a positive way to support our sporting events.
