1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 63 Downing Street in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is an approximately 1,023 ft2 two story, single family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in gabled configuration and is covered with 3-tab composition shingles. The exterior is clad with wood siding. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Sheetrock throughout. Floors: Combination of ceramic tile and wood. Ten (10) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos. Samples were delivered by overnight courier service to EMSL Analytical, Inc. for analysis using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to confirm negative PLM results for non-friable organically bound materials. As indicated by laboratory analysis, those materials containing asbestos > 1 % include approximately:
3,581 ft2 of joint compound on the ceilings and walls.
192 LF of duct tape in the Crawlspace. Limitations This survey and report have been executed at the request of Mr. David Hatcher and City of Columbia and are intended solely for their use. All work related to this project has been conducted in keeping with accepted standards of environmental consulting as practiced in the State of South Carolina. No unnecessary destructive measures were undertaken during this survey. Additional suspect and/or asbestos containing materials may be present. If at any time during the course of renovation or demolition a suspect material is observed that is not identified in this report, stop work immediately until the material can be sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos. ABS has relied, in part, on information derived from secondary sources, and except as set forth herein, ABS has made no independent investigation as to the accuracy or completeness of the information derived from such secondary sources. No warranty is expressed or implied.

1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 87 Downing Street in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is an approximately 897 ft2 single-family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in a gabled configuration and is covered with 3-tab composition shingles. The exterior is clad with a cementitious siding. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Sheetrock throughout. Floors: Combination of hardwood and vinyl. Eighteen (18) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos. Samples were delivered by overnight courier service to EMSL Analytical, Inc. for analysis using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to confirm negative PLM results for non-friable organically bound materials. As indicated by laboratory analysis, those materials containing asbestos > 1 % include approximately 1,488 ft2 of exterior siding.

824 Burwell Ln ABS Environmental, Inc. Asbestos Survey ABS Job # 7800.19005
1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 824 Burwell Lane in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is an approximately 1,820 ft2 single-family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in an intersecting hip configuration and is covered with 3-tab composition shingles. The exterior is clad primarily with brick veneer. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Sheetrock Ceilings throughout. Sheetrock walls only in the kitchen and bathroom. Everywhere else is just wood framed. Sheetrock dust is located on various surfaces throughout the house. Floors: Combination of ceramic tile and wood floors. Twelve (12) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos. Samples were delivered by overnight courier service to SAI, Inc. for analysis using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to confirm negative PLM results for non-friable organically bound materials. As indicated by laboratory analysis, those materials containing asbestos > 1 % include approximately:
1,820 ft2 of joint compound on the sheetrock ceilings throughout the residence
504 ft2 of joint compound on sheetrock walls in Kitchen and Bathroom
Sheetrock dust throughout the house
Exterior caulk on 5 doors and 3 windows
12 LF of chimney flashing Limitations This survey and report have been executed at the request of Mr. ABS has relied, in part, on information derived from secondary sources, and except as set forth herein, ABS has made no independent investigation as to the accuracy or

836 Burwell Ln ABS Environmental, Inc. Asbestos Survey ABS Job # 7800.19006
1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 836 Burwell Lane in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is a single-family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in a gabled configuration and is covered with architectural shingles. The exterior is clad primarily with brick veneer. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Wood-frame walls and ceilings. Floors: Combination of ceramic tile and wood floors. Ceramic tile is on top of 9” vinyl tile in the kitchen. The building measures approximately 2,692 ft2. Ten (10) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos.
280 ft2 of 9” floor tile and mastic located under ceramic tile in the Kitchen.
22 windows with exterior window glazing.
12 LF of chimney flashing.

1226 Glenhaven Dr ABS Environmental, Inc. Asbestos Survey ABS Job # 7800.19013
1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 1226 Glenhaven Drive in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is a single-family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in an intersecting gabled configuration and is covered with 3-tab composition shingles. The exterior is clad primarily with brick veneer. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Combination of sheetrock and plaster Floors: Combination of ceramic tile and wood floors The vacant residence measures approximately 2,695 ft2. Twenty (20) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos.
805 ft2 of joint compound and/or spray-applied texture on the ceilings, primarily in the upper level. A few of the electrical boxes on the main level ceilings have overspray.
864 ft2 of joint compound on walls primarily in the upper level.
134 LF of duct tape in the crawlspace.
126 ft2 ceramic tile thinset in the Laundry Room.
10 LF of chimney flashing.

1238 Glenhaven Dr ABS Environmental, Inc. Asbestos Survey ABS Job # 7800.19014
1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABS Environmental, Inc. (ABS) was retained by the City of Columbia to perform an asbestos survey at 1238 Glenhaven Drive in Columbia, SC. The primary objective of this survey was to identify, sample and physically assess suspect asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) associated with the vacant residence. The subject structure is a single-family residence built over a crawlspace. The roof is built in an intersecting hip configuration and is covered with architectural grade shingles. The exterior is clad primarily with brick veneer. Interior finishes include: Ceilings/Walls: Plaster over sheetrock. Floors: Combination of ceramic tile and wood floors. Vinyl flooring is in the office. Fourteen (14) suspect materials were identified, sampled and analyzed for the presence of asbestos.
132 ft2 of sheet vinyl in the Office.
170 LF of duct tape in the Office.
Exterior caulk around 14 windows and 3 doors.
12 LF of chimney flashing.
