SPECTACULAR OPENINGFOR THAI WATER EXPO 2017‘Driving Sustainable Development through Innovation’

Day 2

SHOW DAILYSpectacular Regional Showcase of Water & Wastewater and Pumps & Valves Technology

Today, our water situation has become more critical than ever. With a steadily rising global population and increased demand from industry, private organizations and governments, concern about water and wastewater has never been higher.

The government has now established comprehensive measures for water and wastewater technology, plus development andmanagement.

The Provincial Waterworks Authority of Thailand (PWA) aims to ensure that clean water is used in a responsible manner and in conjunction with the provision of sustainable water sources.

The PWA of Thailand is currently transforming into PWA 4.0 in order to support the country’s development. This is in line with government policy to work and operate in conjunction with Smart Water Management. PWA is now introducing technologies and innovations to help aid organization management in various areas such as production that uses multiple computer systems. This will ensure that information is disseminated in a smart and timely manner.

PWA is planning to increase its efficiency for remote water quality monitoring (both with production and distribution processes). PWA is also in the process of establishing comprehensive measures for water management which is being created to ensure protection and adequate supplies for the future.

Thai Water Expo 2017 is an important event exclusively focused on water. The Provincial Waterworks Authority of Thailand is proud to be associated and supported with the show which is now the Region’s Leading International Exhibition of Water & Wastewater Technology. The show will greatly benefit Thailand, especially industrial sectors that count on Thai water to be pure and distributed safely and efficiently to both citizens and businesses throughout the country.

On behalf of the PWA, I would like to extend our deepest appreciation to UBM Asia (Thailand) for their professional expertise in making Thai Water Expo 2017 a resounding success. We look forwardto working with you again in the near future.
