Introduction to Ashadee
Ashadee is the first integrated e-commerce and Publishers platform in Malaysia. Unlike any
other similar platform, Ashadee provides you with not only the tools you need to sell online,
but also a growing base of Publishers who will promote your products and send traffic to your
website.
Ashadee is a complete business system for anyone who wants to start an ecommerce business,
or take advantage of the Internet for their existing offline businesses.

Advertiser Introduction
Here are some benefits of selling or promoting your products through Ashadee as Advertiser.
Internal Integration - If you want Ashadee to manage billing and payment:

External Integration – If you want to manage your own shopping cart and payment system with
Ashadee.

In other words, by using Ashadee you can have more time to focus on building your core
business, by outsourcing all billing, sales and traffic generation to us.
To be Advertiser in Ashadee you need to have:
● A completed product - digital, physical or events.
● A completed website where the product will be sold.
● If you are going to sell events, then you also need to be a registered company - sole
proprietor, Sdn Bhd or Berhad.

Ashadee welcomes anyone to become Advertiser. However, we have our own policy and we
only accept products that meet our requirements. For more information on accepted products,
please refer to our policy here:

If you do not meet the requirements, then we cannot offer you Advertiser account. If your
product is acceptable, then please follow this guide to setup your website and submit your
website to us for evaluation.
Preparation to Submit Your Website
Before you submit a product for approval, please make sure you follow all the guidelines to
prepare your product and website for inclusion in the Ashadee marketplace:
1. Signup for a free Ashadee account at http://www.ashadee.com/signup/ to get your
username. With this username, you can also participate in Ashadee as a Publisher or
Buyer, besides being a Advertiser.
2. Make sure that your product complies with our Vendor and Product Policy as mentioned
above. If you are not sure about our policy or need clarification, please email
[email protected] for clarification.
3. Make sure your product is complete and ready to be sold. Do not submit products that
are incomplete or in progress.
4. Make sure that your product is original, or you own the rights to sell it. Additional
documentation may be required where applicable.
5. Make sure your product has obtained all the necessary legal documentation and
certificates (especially health products) to be sold in Malaysia.
6. Please make sure that you are operating under a legal company registered with
Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia or SSM.

7. Make sure your website is on your own domain name and hosting, and not a free
BlogSpot blog or free website. We strongly feel that anyone who cannot invest the small
sum of money to get their own domain name and hosting is not truly serious about
owning an e-commerce business.
Refunds and Money Back Guarantee
You may choose not to mention any kind of money back guarantee in your landing page.
However, if you mention any kind of money back guarantee, it must match the standard money
back guarantee terms of Ashadee:
● Digital Products
o All digital products sold through Ashadee have a standard 30-day money back
guarantee.
o The buyer may use the self-service billing option or contact Ashadee within 30
days from the payment date to get a refund.
● Physical Products
o Physical products do not have a money back guarantee, but we may still refund
the customer if you do not deliver the product in an acceptable timeframe.
● Event Products
o All event products have a 7-day money back guarantee based on the event time
and purchase date. The buyer may cancel his registration and ask for a refund
within 7 days of payment, provided that the actual event if not less than 7 days
away.
Buyers do not need to ask your permission to get a refund. They can simply go to
http://ashadee.com/order to check for eligibility and submit a refund request directly to
Ashadee.

Our standard money back guarantee is in place to instill buyer confidence and protect the
buyer. If you cannot agree to the Ashadee refund terms, you should consider the Premium
Vendor account where you are free to state your own refund terms.
Setting Up Your Advertiser Account
Before you proceed with setting up your Advertiser account, make sure you have made all the
preparations as mentioned above.
1. Login to your Ashadee account here: http://www.ashadee.com/login/
2. Click on Advertiser tab and activate your Advertiser account by this filling up one simple
form.

Once your Advertiser account activated, you can now create Campaigns to drive traffic, sales
and leads to your landing page.

Step 1: Create Campaign

Basic Information:
● Assign to Project – Select the default project of your campaign.
● Status – Visible or Hidden. You can choose to show or hide your campaign in the
Ashadee marketplace and content network.
● Landing Page – Enter your landing page or homepage URL. For guide how to create a
product landing page, please refer here: http://goo.gl/l1X5sv
● Order URL – This is optional. Enter a different URL here if your order buttons or links are
not on your landing page. For example, if you have an upsell page, one-time-offer page,
or separate pricing page.
● Title / Headline – Enter a good title for your campaign, as will be seen by Publishers.
● Description – Enter a good description for your campaign, as will be seen by Publishers.
● Thumbnail – You can auto-generated thumbnail, or upload your own image for this
campaign. Image to be uploaded must be exactly 800x600px, in JPG format only.
● Category – Select the most suitable category based on your products or content.
Ashadee will review this and edit as required.
● Keyword – Enter 3 keywords that best describe your campaign, each separated by
comma.

Availability:
● Language – Select the default language of your campaign. If your site offers different
language options, you must select the default or most popular language. This will
determine the default language that is used in your Ashadee order form, and other
pages.
● Target Countries – You will only get visitors from the countries you specify here.
Everyone else not from these target countries will see an "Offer not available in your
country" message when they click on your Publisher's links.
● Publisher Type – Select "All Publishers" for maximum exposure. Select "Certified
Publishers" for better quality but fewer Publishers. Certified Publishers means
Publishers that have already submitted the required document to certify their Ashadee
account.
When you have entered all the required information, click on Save and Next button to save
your information and proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Choose Ad Model
There are two reward types for Publishers that are promoting your campaign. You can choose
to give Publishers either one or both rewards:
1. CPS - Cost Per Sale.
● This means that your will give commissions when any sales generated from their
Publisher link.
● Select product type that you’re selling.
i. A “digital product” is defined as any product that can be downloaded or
accessed digitally or electronically. This includes eBooks, videos,
templates, downloadable software, membership sites etc.
ii. A “physical product” is defined as any product that requires shipment or
delivery.
iii. An “event product” is defined as any product that requires physical
participation at a fixed time and date.

● Choose CPS method:
i. Internal Integration - If you want Ashadee to manage billing and
payment.
ii. External Integration – If you want to manage your own shopping cart and
payment system with Ashadee. You will be given a conversion code that
you need to put on this conversion page. Conversion Page is a page of
your website that someone reaches after performing an action, like an
order complete confirmation page.
● Commissions given to Publishers are based on this percentage, minimum 2% and
maximum 75%.
2. CPL - Cost Per Lead.
● This means that your will give commissions when any leads generated from their
Publisher link.
● Commissions given to Publishers are based on this fixed value.

● Conversion Page URL is a page of your website that someone reaches after
performing an action, like an order complete confirmation page.
When you have entered all the required information, click on Save and Next button to save
your information and proceed to the next step. You also still can go back to the previous step
after save by clicking on the Previous button on if you want to edit the information in the
previous step.
Step 3: Integrate Your Site In this Step 3, it depends on which Reward Type you choose in the Step 2. If you choose CPS -
Cost Per Sale, you will be asked to create your first product.

● Product name – The name of your product that will appear in your order form.
● Product Description – The description of your product that will appear in your order
form.
● Thank You Page – The page where the buyer can get the product. For example of a
product thank you page, please refer here: http://goo.gl/2Nhpp7
● IPN Callback URL – An advanced tool for automating orders and getting customer data.
Leave this blank if you don’t know how to use a IPN.
● Product Price – The price of your product.
● Custom Commission – The commission you will pay Publishers when they make a sale
for your product.

● Product Image – The image of your product in 375x500 pixels in JPG format only. Make
sure your image is high-quality and accurately represents the product.
Then for the product settings, it depends on your product type that you choose in Step 2:
● Digital product settings :
o Returns Policy – Digital products have a standard 30-day money back guarantee.
o Billing Option – Select one-time billing or recurring billing for your digital
product.
▪ One-Time / Recurring – If it’s a recurring product, you may enter a
different one-time price and recurring price.

● Physical product settings :
o Return Policy – Money back guarantee for physical product
o Multiple Quantities – Tick this option if you want to allow buyer to order more
than one in one order.
o Stock Control – Tick this option if your product only available in limited
quantities.
o Available Stock – Enter the available stock here but remember to update it
frequently. Once the quantity reaches zero (0), this product will not be available
until you have modified the stock. Leave this blank if not applicable.
o Multiple Quantities – Do you want to allow the buyer to order multiple
quantities of the same products? Leave this blank if you want to limit to one
quantity only per order.

o Shipping Rates – Enter the estimated shipping price for your physical product.
There are three options for East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), West Malaysia,
and International:
▪ Fixed – The shipping price is the same no matter how many quantities
are ordered.
▪ Per Quantity – The shipping price is multiplied for each quantity ordered.
▪ Free – No shipping price will be charged.
● Event product settings :
o Returns Policy – Event products have a 7 day cancellation policy. The buyer may
cancel and get a refund within 7 days of payment, provided that the Event Start
Date (specified above) is not less than 7 days in the future.
o Event Start Date – The first day of your event, which is used to automate the
availability of your event, calculate refund eligibility and more. The date you
enter here cannot be more than 90 days from the current date.

o Multiple Tickets – Do you want to enable purchase of multiple seats / places by
a single buyer? Leave this unchecked if you want a single buyer to be able to
order only one seat / place in your event.
o Available Tickets – Enter the available tickets here but remember to update it
frequently. Once the quantity reaches zero (0), this event will not be available
until you have modified the tickets.
If you choose Reward Type: CPL - Cost Per Lead or want to use External Integration method,
you will be asked to select and insert only one code into your conversion page that you
specified in Step 2.

These are the tags used in Ashadee conversion codes. You will need to replace the relevant
codes:
● SALE - Specifies the transaction as a sale. Do not edit or remove this.
● LEAD - Specifies the transaction as a lead. Do no edit or remove this.
● SALE_AMOUNT - The total amount as per your order / invoice. Numbers only with 2
decimals.
● TRACKING_VALUE - A unique number for your reference. Our system will use this to
avoid duplicate transactions. Possible unique numbers include transaction ID, order
number, lead ID or email address.
● PUBLISHER_ID - The Ashadee Publisher ID. In order for this to work you need to pass the
correct tags from Ashadee to your landing page.
● BANNER_ID - The unique ID of a banner or creative used by Publishers. In order for this
to work you need to pass the correct tags from Ashadee to your landing page.
When you have entered all the required information, click on Save and Next button to save
your information and proceed to the next step. You also still can go back to the previous step
after save by clicking on the Previous button on if you want to edit the information in the
previous step.
Step 4: Test Integration In Step 4, you will have to test the order flow of the data you entered in Step 3, until you have
successfully recorded a transaction or completed the order test. This is just a test; it is free of
charge and no payment needed.

All tests here are depending on the Reward Type and Integration method that you selected in
the Step 2:
● Reward Type: Cost Per Lead
1. Test your integration by clicking on your test link given. This will activate our tracking
system and place a cookie in your computer.
2. Go through the sales process on your website or landing page until you get to the
conversion page where the integration code is placed.
3. Once you get to the "Thank You" page, you will then see the details of your order or
lead in the table below with the status Test. You should refresh this page to see the
latest data.
4. Only Test transactions recorded in the last 48 hours will be displayed here.
5. Proper integration will help you in manually approving or rejecting Publishers
commissions, so make sure you are passing the correct values to Ashadee that will
help you in checking for leads within your shopping cart or e-commerce system.
● Reward Type: Cost Per Sale, Integration method : Internal Integration
1. Since you have chosen to use our payment system, please use the order link
below on your order page.
2. You must not display your own payment information, or link to any third party
payment provider. If you're using other systems or networks, you must create a
different version of your landing page and order page to be used with Ashadee.
If you cannot or do not want to do this, you must select "external Integration"
instead.
3. Please make sure that the only way to make an order on this page is using the
Order Link given. You are not allowed to put in your own payment information

or bank account numbers on this page. Ashadee will verify the landing page to
find the Order Link. If your order link is found, the status will change to "LINK
FOUND". This verification is important to ensure that: (1) The site belongs to
you or you have access to it, and (2) You understand the concept of using
Ashadee.
4. Make a test purchase through your test Order Link. Go through the order
process until you get to the "Thank You" page you have specified.
5. When you have completed the test purchase, click on "Verify" and the status will
change to "COMPLETED". When this is completed, you will be able to proceed
to Step 5 to submit your campaign for approval.
● Reward Type: Cost Per Sale, Integration method : External Integration
1. Test your integration by clicking on your test link below. This will activate our
tracking system and place a cookie in your computer.
2. Go through the sales process on your website until you get to the page where
the integration code is placed. If you are using our plugins / apps, the code is
already placed in the correct page.
3. Once you get to the "Thank You" page, you will then see the details of your order
or lead in the table below with the status Test.
4. You should refresh this page to see the latest data.
5. Proper integration will help you in manually approving or rejecting Publishers
commissions, so make sure you are passing the correct values to Ashadee that

will help you in checking for sales within your shopping cart or e-commerce
system.
Step 5: Submit Campaign All campaign submissions are approved or rejected within 3 working days.
Meanwhile, you will see the page "Waiting for Approval" as shown below. When your campaign
approved or rejected, you will receive an email notification from Ashadee.
Check your email. You will also receive a confirmation email that we have received your
campaign application.
Once your campaign is approved, you will receive an email notification from Ashadee. You can
then login to your account.
At this stage, you can add more campaigns or add more products in the same campaign if
required.
Once you have completed the setup of all your products, you can start uploading tools for your
Publishers.

Step 6: Pay & Activate This is required ONLY for campaign that using:
● Reward Type: Cost Per Sale, Integration method : Internal Integration
● Reward Type: Cost Per Lead
For these two above, all payment to Publishers is made by Ashadee, not you. That is why we
require an initial topup amount so we can pay Publishers without waiting for any payment from
you.

Banners & Promotional Tools
The strength of Ashadee is in its Publishers. By selling your products in Ashadee, you are
leveraging on our base of more than 10,000 Publishers to promote your products.
Therefore, it’s very important you provide them with at least two different types of tools:
● Banners – The Publishers will display your banner on their website, blog or online
property.
● Text Ads – The Publishers will use text ads in email marketing, email recommendation,
and in their blog or website content.

To enter banners and text ads, login to your account, find and click on Edit button at the related
campaign, and then click on Banner Ads or Text Ads.
Creating Banners
When creating banners, it’s always a good idea to engage a professional web designer who is
knowledgeable in designing for the Internet.
A good banner will help you get more clicks from Publishers, and help to drive more sales. At
Ashadee you can upload any type of banner. Make sure that your banners:
● Follow standard dimensions – Please follow this guide for standard banner sizes:

● Are image only – We do not accept Flash banners or other non-image banners.

● Are optimized for size – Effective banners must load quickly and consume very little
bandwidth. You must optimize your banners to control the size (maximum 100 KB or
Kilobytes)
Creating Text Ads
When creating text ads, make sure you engage a professional who is knowledgebase about web
copywriting in the language you want to use.
Start Recruiting Your Own Publishers
Although Ashadee has thousands of Publishers who may (or may not) be interested in
promoting your products, the best way to become successful is to recruit your own Publishers.
We provide you with your own Dedicated Advertiser Page where you can recruit Publishers
directly.

● Allows existing Ashadee Publishers to apply and promote your campaign

● If the users does not have an Ashadee account, they can sign up for one directly from
this page and they will be automatically become one of your Publishers.
● Provides all the related Publishers links, banners and text ads.
Make sure you provide this page to anyone who has mentioned interest in promoting your
products. It’s also highly recommended that you place a link to this Publishers page
somewhere in your website (usually at the bottom) to announce that you have an Affiliate
Program.
