Every Client at Tapestry is UniqueTapestry Eating Disorder Program treats those who are struggling to regain their
independence from eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder
and orthorexia. Our empowering therapies and exceptional staff help guide both adults
and adolescents to lasting recovery no matter what stage of life they’re in.
Healing requires comfort and a sense of safety. That’s why we’ve gone to great lengths to
provide a different type of sanctuary — a place that feels like a home and not an institution.
Each aspect of our facilities is designed to put you at ease and make you feel as at home
as possible. The environment we’ve created is based entirely on your comfort and on
supporting your successful recovery. You’ll be surrounded by others who can relate to what
you’re going through and compassionate experts who will keep you safe and do all they
can to support your recovery.

clients the skills they need to deal with
real life pressures and support them on
their journey to true health and freedom.

Our Approach

This way, when they graduate our program
they are fully prepared to face life’s challenges
head on and achieve success. While in our
program, clients grocery shop, prepare
their own meals and snacks. dine at local
restaurants, and volunteer in the community.
Adolescent Residential Program

Our adolescent program takes a family
systems approach to helping clients
address their disordered eating. Family
members are encouraged to be heavily
involved in the treatment plan and
therapies.
This program offers round-the-clock support
and typically lasts 8-10 weeks. We work with
the client’s current school, assist with
homebound assignments and offer grade
appropriate tutoring as needed, so our clients
can continue with their current studies.

clock support. This
program is highly
structured, but it’s
also designed to be
non-restrictive. This
allows clients the
freedom to grow
and progress in
their recovery while
receiving as much
support as needed.

Tapestry recognizes that, many times, clients who are diagnosed with an eating disorder
may also be struggling with other behavioral health issues. In these cases, treatment
plans are modified by our multi-disciplinary team to accommodate treating each disorder
simultaneously—each within the context of the other. Our psychiatric team is skilled at
identifying connections between disorders and facilitating whole-person healing.
Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders Residential Program Features
Our eating disorder residential treatment programs are led by
licensed therapists who specialize in eating disorders as well as
registereddietitians,nurses,psychiatristsandqualifiedresident
counselors with extensive experience with eating disorders.

Clients prepare and enjoy supportive meals together, participate in group and experiential
therapies and learn healthy ways of thinking and behaving. We focus on improving body
image, incorporating body movement and understanding nutrition and balanced exercise.
Our programs strongly encourage family involvement in treatment. We believe that healing
best occurs when family members are invested in the recovery process. Clients can
participate in up to 8 hours of programming each day.

Clients attend 6-8 hours of
treatment and group sessions
a day, for up to 7 days a week.
Intensive Outpatient Programs Our Intensive Outpatient Programs
last 8 weeks or longer. Clients
engage in group therapies and
experiential sessions in a shortened
program that allows for maximum
flexibility to maintain outside
obligations.
