A LIGHT SHINING From the Community Lay Director Pamela Berry Did you know that some people are afraid to find out what God's will is for them? They imag- ine that God might ask them to uproot their lives or take on some mission far too difficult for them. Sure, God's will does cause some people to make great sacrifices, travel to faraway places, and do things they never imagined doing. But for most of us, God's will hits close to home. For example, God's will most often involves tal- ents we already know we possess, in places where we already reside. If you're wondering about God's will for your life, you might even find that you are already doing it. God places His will inside us before we are born. For that reason, even if He calls you to a fara- way place, it will be one you have always won- dered about, longed to see. Life isn't random. It's been planned in great detail. Ask God to re- veal His plan or you and see what happens.
