The PhysicsThe Physics
It would be impossible for her to hold on to the car after fallingfrom such a distance.
Calculations: Falling Distance
Calculations: Falling Distance
Estimated cable car height ≈ 3.15 m On screen car height = 0.0102 m Fall distance on screen = 0.0450 m

Average female hands can handle about 92 lbs. of force
“It takes nine or 10 pounds of force to dislocate a shoulder”
Calculations: Terminal Velocity
Calculations: Terminal Velocity
Estimated time of fall ≈ (8.65s)/2 + 1.56s
