ASME Vessel Shop

Certified as an American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code manufacturing facility, we have the capability to design, fabricate and certify all new vessels to the ASME Code, Division 1; Section VIII. We maintain “R” and “U” Stamps and are approved by the National Board for pressure vessel alterations and registrations.

Omega Natchiq has been certified for ASME Code fabrication since 1994 and has successfully completed hundreds of ASME Code certified projects. We are authorized to make national board code repairs and have expanded our capabilities to include tank fabrication and vessels of larger diameters and wall thicknesses. We also specialize in offshore/onshore vessel repairs and alterations and have the ability to coordinate total confined space operations with certified in-house personnel. Our vessel capabilities include:

Vessels up to 14’ in diameter, with special rigging we have completed vessels up to

20’ in diameter.

Vessels up to 75’ in length.

Vessels up to 100 tons in weight.

Maximum sized vessels require special rigging to fabricate and handle.

Vessel Materials range from carbon steel to stainless steel and other alloys.

A new shop building with state-of-the-art computerized CNC type beam fabrication equipment. This new equipment is designed to process beams,

channels, rectangular/square tubes, angles and other structural shapes.

This equipment meets ANSI/AISC 360-05 Standard Specification on bolt holes for Structural Steel Buildings.

Fabrication Facility This facility utilizes a seven axis Robotic Plasma Cutting System that cuts material to length, copes, compound miters, bevels, cuts weld access & bolt holes and etches piece marks, heat

numbers and layout lines for weldments.
