Grinding SpotsSolo Grinding Spots 1. Level 30-34: (XP1) Kill Dakaer Draconutes around the island. Good for kiters and high DPS classes 2. Level 30-34: (XP2) Repeat the quest, Rich Man, Ore Man (Given by Grabakr at the guard tower on the NorthWest end of Lake Asterias island) Good for classes that have trouble with XP1 3. Level 31-35 (XP3) Repeat the quest, Golem Bright Marble (Given by Kuenunerk at Step 56) Good for all classes. Kill the Old Golem directly North of Kuenunerk, then the one to the far East of that same platform. Then Fly slightly North-East to the next platform slightly below and kill that Old Golem. Then Fly further North-East on the same platform and kill the two Old Golems there. Then return to Kuenunerk and repeat. 4. Level 35-39: (XP4) Kill Krotan Klaws 5. Level 36-40: (XP5) Kill Ranx Draconutes 6. Level 37-40: (XP6) Kill Ranx Draconutes 7. Level 37-40: (XP7) Repeat the quest, Eliminating the Flame Tribe (Given by Riudona, the Teleporter at the Western Shard of Latesran on the Upper Layer) Good for all classes. Kill 19 Flame Tribes Group Grinding Spots 1. Level 30-35: Kill at XPG1 in Morheim You can either grind inside of the Fire Temple instance or outside in the Arkanis Sky Temple. In order to access the Fire Temple, you must complete the Campaign quest, The Three Keys. The Fire Temple is an instance with bosses that drop loot and has a short lockout timer. It is great for groups with high DPS. 1. Level 35-40: Kill Mau at XPG2 in Morheim 2. Level 37-40: Kill Balaur at XPG3 in the Abyss

1. Travel to Beluslan Fortress (No longer will the guide say to use a Return Scroll. Whenever you are asked to travel to a region, assume that means to use a scroll or teleport there). 2. Travel North and enter the Headquarters. Go to Nerita. Turn in the Campaign quest, Orders From Nerita Update the Campaign quest, Saving Beluslan Fortress 3. Go to Hod. Accept the quest, Falling Fragments 4. Exit the Headquarters and travel South. Go to Ai, who is next to Dristan, the Warehouse Keeper. Accept the quest, Only for Her 5. Go to Nornen, who roams around the fortress (blue arrow on map). Update the quest, Falling Fragments 6. Go to Regin (blue arrow on map). Update the quest, Falling Fragments 7. Go to Bestla (yellow arrow on map). Update the Campaign quest, Saving Beluslan Fortress Update the quest, Falling Fragments Accept the quest, The Fragment Hazard 8. Go to the nearest Temporal Transfer Stone and Right-Click it. You will be teleported a short distance away.

9. Fly and return to Bestla. Update the Campaign quest, Saving Beluslan Fortress 10. Travel North and enter the Headquarters. Go to Hod. Turn in the quest, Falling Fragments Accept the follow up quest, Monitor Glue 11. Exit the Headquarters, travel South-West, and enter the Chapel. Go to Grundt. Update the Campaign quest, An Undead Occupation 12. Exit the Chapel and then exit the fortress. Travel to the West side of the Beluslan Fortress area. Roam along the entire West side. Collect 10 Sticky Salivas by killing Blue Jaw Monitors, collect 7 Crestlich Breast Meats by killing Meek Crestliches, and collect 5 Fortress Fragment.

Purchase a Flight to Alsig Village (No longer will the guide tell you to go to the Flight Transporter/Teleporter. Assume that purchasing these requires that step).

18. Travel South and enter the Grocery. Go to Tekor. Accept the quest, Harvesting Tripeed 19. Roam the Tripeed Fields at the South end of Alsig Village. Collect 10 Tripeed Fruit.

Tripeed Fruit 20. Return to the Grocery and go to Tekor. Turn in the quest, Harvesting Tripeed Accept the follow up quest, Tripeed Monster 21. Travel to the South end of Alsig Village and go to Letum. Accept the quest, Combat Preparation 22. Travel North and enter the Grocery. Go to Tekor. Update the quest, Combat Preparation 23. Exit the Grocery and return to Letum. Update the quest, Combat Preparation 24. If it is night time, return to the Tripeed Fields and kill 10 Tripeed Monsters. Also, travel North-West to Step 31 and go to Sararinirerk. This location is midway along the cliff on a ledge. These quests can only be completed at night time, so if it is not night time, continue with the guide and come back to this step once it is. 25. Travel South-East to Step 24. Roam around the large area and kill 15 Lava Barghests, kill 9 Blazing Obscuras, kill 20 Sulfur Slimes, kill 10 Crawling Clodworms, and collect 10 Oculazen Iriseses by killing Observing Oculazens. 26. Return to Embla. Turn in the quest, Obscured Vision Turn in the quest, Oculazen Irises 27. Go to Utgar. Turn in the quest, Nosy Barghests 28. Go to Gangleri. Travel South-West and return to Alsig Village. By now it should have been night time. Finish killing Tripeed Monsters if you need to and then enter the Grocery and go to Tekor. Travel to the Eastern Shard of Latesran (Again, the guide will not direct you on how to get here. Assume this means to use the Abyss Teleport NPCs to reach the destination). Go to Duneyr. Purchase your skill manuals for Level 31. 45. Exit the Capital Building, travel South-West, and enter the Temple of Knowledge. Go to Cavalorn. Update the Campaign quest, Saving Beluslan Fortress 46. Exit the Temple of Knowledge and travel North-East to the Temple of Artisans. Enter the Cooking Workshop and go to Daraia. Purchase 1 Kirka Wine and 1 Cheese. 47. Exit the Cooking Workshop and go to Vidar. Accept the quest, Unexpected Reward 48. Exit the Temple of Artisans and travel South. Enter the Temple of Gold and go to Nekorunyerk. NOTE: It is best to turn this quest in when you need to buy the last 9 slots of your Cube, meaning you currently have 63 slots. This will save you the most Kinah. When you are at that point, turn this quest in. Turn in the quest, Unexpected Reward 49. Use your Return Ability. 50. Go to Haug (yellow arrow on map). Update the Campaign quest, Saving Beluslan Fortress 51. Travel to the first floor and go to Hisui. Accept the quest, Transparent Motives 52. Go to the Trade Broker and purchase 1 Aether of High Purity.

53. Travel West to Step 50. Collect 3 Golden Corneas by killing Seal Sentinels. Be careful, as these guys deal lots of damage and are closely clustered. 54. Travel South and go to the Western Shard of Latesran. Go to Peroniad. Update the quest, Transparent Motives 55. Travel to the Western Shard of Latesran on the Upper Layer. 56. Go to Riudona. Update the quest, Transparent Motives 57. Travel South and go to Dullaha (blue arrow on map). Turn in the quest, Transparent Motives 58. Go to Greip. Accept the quest, Seeking the Crystals 59. Travel South-East to Step 56. Roam the island and collect 5 Crystal Protection Stones by killing Ancient Guardstones. There are only 2 at this location, so kill Corrupted Ancient Soldiers until they respawn. 60. Return to Greip (blue arrow on map). Turn in the quest, Seeking the Crystals 61. Travel South-East to Step 58 and go to Kuenunerk. He is located on the same island as the Aerial Restraint artifact. Hes difficult to find because he is hiding in a corner of a broken wall. Accept the quest, Treasure of the Ancient City Accept the quest, Collecting Ancient Swords 62. Collect 1 Worn-out Sword by killing Skeletal Miscreants. Then travel North-East to Step 59. Collect 1 Broken Sword by killing Cursed Centurions. They are located on the numerous floating islands around the location. 63. Travel East to Step 60 and collect 1 Intact Sword by killing Enduring Garcikhans.

64. Return to Kuenunerk (blue arrow on map). Directly below him on the island platform is an Elyos NPC and an Ancient Treasure Box. If you wish, you can complete the other quest by Right-Clicking the Ancient Treasure Box and collecting 15 Seals of the Ancient City. As long as you stand against the wall, the NPC will not aggro you. You will have to wait for the Ancient Treasure Box to respawn each time. While you wait for the respawn, kill a few mobs nearby.

Kill 10 Pale Zombies. They are scattered around the area. Be careful when killing these, as they have a powerful attack that can deal over 1,000 damage. 94. Travel West and return to Gigrite (Step 77). Update the Campaign quest, An Undead Occupation 95. Go to Sorgrim. They are usually located next to standing walls in the Garden of the Dead. I found it easiest to find 1 and kill it over and over, as the respawn is quite short. Kill other nearby mobs while you wait. 118. Travel North-West and return to Greip (Step 109). Turn in the quest, Smashing the Stones Accept the follow up quest, Delivering Research Results 119. Destroy the Huge Rock. Kill 11 Black Armor Kirrus and 11 Pretor Scouts. 196. Travel North to Step 187. Travel to the bridge and Right-Click Straheins Liquor Bottle in the middle of the bridge. What to keep in mind: Firstly, the last 10 levels are very grind intensive. The quests available are very limited in both number and rewards. They simply do not even come close to getting you to the next level. This means you will spend the majority of your time doing 1 of 3 things: 1. Group Grinding Instances: This is a great way to get XP if you dont mind the grind to be a little slower. There are lots of group quests to help you along the way as well. Doing instances gives you the benefit of gear, increased drop rates on normal items, and probably makes the grind less painful. a. Steelrake (Located in Pandaemonium. Talk to Raninerk in the Airship Dock): Level 40-47. You can get attuned for Steelrake by completing the quest, A Suspicious Call given by Uikinerk, East of Hoarfrost during the day. b. Alquima Stronghold (XPG2 located in Beluslan): Level 42-45. You can get attuned for Alquima Stronghold by completing the Campaign quest, A Missing Father and updating the Campaign quest, A Spy Among the Lepharists. c. Draupnirs Cave (XPG3 located in Beluslan): Level 44-50. You can get attuned for Draupnirs Cave by completing every Campaign quest for Beluslan except for Suppressing the Bakarma Legion. 2. Solo Grinding Elites: For the classes that are capable of kiting, solo grinding elites is the fastest way to level. Its the main reason Sorcerers, Spiritmasters, and Rangers are typically the most efficient levelers. If youre up for this, there are many places to go in the Bakarma Barracks (XP1) or Alquima Stronghold (XP2) in Beluslan. 3. Solo Grinding Normal Mobs: For anyone else, this is the most painful route. If you want to just mash away for hours on mobs, pick an empty area and kill mobs that are easy for your class to handle. By now, you should have a grasp on what those mobs are.

1. Travel to Beluslan Fortress. 2. Go to Gnalin, who is in between the Broker and the Chapel. Accept the quest, The Strange Cottage 3. Travel South to Step 3 and go to the Lone Cottage. Depending on the game time, a different NPC will be up that sends you in a different quest chain. You will either see Freki, Vigbir, or Hild. Vigbir and Hild will send you on different quest chains that give you essentially the same reward. These chains are for soloers. Freki will send you on a quest chain that requires a group, but grants significantly more XP. Freki is there between 8am and 4pm game time, Hild is there between 4pm and 12am game time, and Vigbir is there between 12am and 8am game time. 4. Whichever your chose, return to Beluslan Fortress and go to Gnalin. Turn in the quest and accept the follow up. Then complete the quest chain (unless you chose Frekis, in which you will have to wait until a little later and do it with a group when you can). 5. Travel to Red Mane Cavern. 6. Go to Freyja. Roam the area West of Hoarfrost and collect 13 Fighters Amulets by killing Frostspirit Fighters, 7 Shamans Amulets by killing Frostspirit Shamans, 7 Sentinels Amulets by killing Frostspirit Sentinels, and 7 Healers Amulets by killing Frostspirit Healers. 33. Travel South-West to Step 33 and go to Dewi. Turn in the quest, The Dutiful Spy Accept the quest, An Unobtrusive Journey 34. Roam the area and kill 11 Pretor Searchers and 10 Obsidian Kirrins. 35. Return to Dewi (Step 33). Turn in the quest, An Unobtrusive Journey 36. Return to Hoarfrost (Step 27). Go to Chieftain Hasyadatin. Turn in the quest, Maus Lament 37. Go to Arita. Turn in the quest, Supplies for the Survivors 38. Return to Red Mane Cavern. Go to Thor. Turn in the quest, Powwow with the Mau 39. Grind to Level 42. 40. Travel to Red Mane Cavern.

41. Go to Baba Kun. Accept the quest, Feast Fit for a Skurv 42. Go to Borvo. Accept the quest, Red Mane Tribes Secret Remedy 43. Travel South to Step 43. Collect 2 Gorgon Rib Chops by killing Crookhorn Gorgons and collect 3 Daru Hock Meats by killing Fierce Darus. 44. Travel South to Step 18. Roam the Frost Spirit Valley and collect 6 Canyon Trico Horns by killing Canyon Tricos. Then travel North-East to Step 44 and collect 4 Frostmane Trico Horns by killing Frostmane Tricos. They are located up on the crystals, you have to take a crystal elevator to reach them. 45. Return to Red Mane Cavern. Go to Bowen. Turn in the quest, Feast Fit for a Skurv Accept the follow up quest, Before the Stew Gets Cold 46. Go to Baba Kun. Turn in the quest, Before the Stew Gets Cold 47. Go to Borvo. Turn in the quest, Red Mane Tribes Secret Remedy 48. Grind to Level 45. After you reach Level 45, you will spend the majority of 45-50 grinding. There are some quests to do in Brusthonin, but they will accumulate to only a fraction of the total XP you actually need to reach 50. At this time, there isnt a current layout for these quests.
