Every employer and healthcare consumer is impacted by the high cost and inefficiencies in healthcare as we know it today.
Improvements in the quality of healthcare products and services, in addition to a reduction of costs, are imperative.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Automotive Division is bringing in distinguished leaders and practitioners to talk about improving America’s healthcare quality and costs and driving change in healthcare. In two separate tracks, Leadership and Practitioners, you will:
• Learn how to improve healthcare quality and reduce costs by using tools and techniques proven effective in automotive quality. • Hear and participate in panel discussions to identify the barriers and solutions to improving value and high quality. • Attend a career fair and discuss with employers on the career possibilities of transitioning from manufacturing to the healthcare area.
Throughout the symposium, hear how ASQ is working to drive change for all stakeholders by transferring lessons learned and best practices for improving quality and cutting costs in the automotive industry to the health care sector. Collaboration among employers, health care providers, payers and policymakers is one of the keys to change. We are working together with a number of medical associations to bring the best of quality management and process improvement to the medical community. In addition, ASQ is partnering with employers, hospitals and health care providers to reveal barriers, resolve issues and make advancements.
This symposium provides a unique format for professional development and an opportunity to join together with other employers and those responsible for change within the healthcare supply chain, to network, build partnerships and benchmark best practices.
